A 7-1 win to Espanyol in the league, 9-0 to Hammarby in the Champions League and a 4-1 win to Levante in the league again set Barcelona's winning streak back on track going into the international break.

During that time, they had fully moved (mostly) everything across to the house; all of their clothes, bathroom essentials, full kitchen stock, personal items, comforts and so much more.

It meant that by October 19th, they had their first night in their new home. Kaia cooked dinner for them for the first time in their massive kitchen, they ate in the dining room while admiring the garden lit up softly by the spotlights lining the flower beds and pool, then they ended the evening on the incredibly soft and deep sofa in the main living room.

When Kaia went to get them drinks from the kitchen, it gave Mapi a second to just look around the room she was in, all the top of the range furniture and electronics, mature decor, high ceilings, large windows covered by floor length blackout curtains, all broken up by pictures of them, the odd cat toy, baby items and the squeals of Fabian playing with his toys in his padded play area.

She had the worst imposter syndrome, she felt like she was living a life that wasn't hers and she had to pinch herself to remind herself this wasn't a dream, her wife was in the kitchen on the other side of the house, her son was only a few feet away, sat up and smacking his rattle on the ground.

This really was her life and she couldn't be more grateful now it's all become reality. No more imagining what it'd be like to live here and go out for a late night swim with Kaia, or head to her art studio above the garage to paint and draw to her hearts content, she could do it all whenever she wanted.

"Here." Kaia appears from the gap between the two offset Franco Ferri sofas, holding a glass of water with electrolytes to Mapi.

Mapi takes the fancy new glass with a happy smile, lifting her arm for Kaia to cuddle back into her side with her own drink. "I can't believe this is our house." She sighs happily, staring at Kaia's perfect side profile with her eyes practically sparkling. "I can't believe you're my wife, so incredible..."

Kaia looks away from the TV, confused by Mapi's dreamlike voice. "I already agreed to sex after he's asleep," she nods to the active baby in front of the unlit fireplace. "What's did you do? Did you spill something on the new-"

"-no." Mapi laughs and pulls Kaia back to her when the brunette sits up looking for a mess. "I'm just... wow." She couldn't find the words as she stared up at the iron chandelier above their leather, cushioned coffee table. "My life is incredible; a beautiful and healthy son, a kind and sexy wife," She smirks over to Kaia who's listening in amusement. "A house that's more than I could've dreamed for us to raise our children in, a home that will make them feel safe, warm, loved in every way." She rambles slowly. "Fabian is so lucky and he doesn't even know it yet." She says as her lazy eyes look over to their unaware baby who's squealing every time his rattle hits the mat. "He has people who love him so much, a whole support system of family and friends that'll do anything for him."

"They do say it takes a village." Kaia chuckles softly, placing a kiss on Mapi's temple. "And think... when we have our next we might have to lean on that support a lot more."

Mapi groans and hangs her head back, knowing the stress of two under two (what they're planning) will be hellish, but she's looking forward to the challenge so much. She loves being a mother. "I still need to finish painting Fabian's nursery so he doesn't have to sleep in our room every night."

Kaia hums in acknowledgment, too busy yawning since it's late at night. "Now we're living here, maybe you can spend a few evenings in there while I'm cooking dinner. You'll get it done in no time."
