AN: today's the day that's going to make me and many others cry... all I can say is that La Reina will always be a culer no matter where she goes❤️‍🩹 Visca Barça.

And if there's a send off for Mapi today as well... I just hope it's beautiful and she feels all the love the fans have for her😔💙❤️

Anyways, back to this story where Alexia and Mapi aren't going anywhere🙅‍♀️

Mexico City was somewhat famous for charrería, an equestrian discipline that was a cultural phenomenon to the country of Mexico.

Kaia had no idea about the details of the sport if she was honest, but she knew Hispanics and Latinos loved flamboyant horse riding.

Mapi had taken her to a ballet at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art for their fourth date, where they watched the most disciplined horses dance to 18th century music.

Kaia thought that was one of the best equestrian performances she'd seen, full of rich culture and pride, telling a story of Spain's history through the sharp movements of the horses legs and leaps.

Mapi's mind was blown within five minutes. She had never seen it before, she didn't think it would be nearly as impressive but she just knew her then talking stage liked horses.

It was a successful date to say the least.

And now four years later, they had their son sitting in between them in similar stone stands to stare down at the arena below.

It was a bonding activity for the team, a day in the shade where they could enjoy something that wasn't necessarily every tourist's go-to but was full of entertainment.

Cowboy hats were on a few of them, while they dressed for the Mexican rodeo to accommodate the style and also the humidity.

Mapi wanted Kaia to take her cowboy hat home with them, that was until Fabian begged to wear it and it covered his eyes completely.

It was an image too precious not to capture, with him smiling for Mapi's phone without being able to actually see it.

"Baby, you're going to miss the horses if you can't see them." Kaia chuckles, gently trying to lift the hat off Fabian's head.

"No!" Fabian refuses in a panic, both his hands in a killer grip to keep the hat securely on his head.

"Horses!" Mapi points down at the one lone horse making its way into the arena. "Fabian, there's a horse down there that looks just like Mariposa."

"Horse!" Fabian lets go of the hat and suddenly it's lifted from his eyes, giving him a perfect view of the horse walking below and being announced to the arena. "Mami, I go." He begs.

"These aren't our horses." Kaia refuses amusedly. "We're just watching them perform."

Fabian's shoulders slouch in disappointment, but he was straight on his feet and using Mapi's shoulder for support so he could look down at the old school tractor in the corner. "Tractor!"

"He's losing his mind down there." Lucy teases from the row behind, eating popcorn that she was sharing with Ona.

At her voice, Fabian turns and steps down into the row behind's footwell, opening his mouth and not needing to even ask before a piece of popcorn was placed in his mouth.

"Fabian, stay close." Mapi warns, but she was far more interested in putting Kaia's cowboy had back on and admiring how good she looked in it. "Damn, look at you."
