June 12th, 5:47am.

Mapi sat wide awake it bed, the summer sun lightening up the sky outside but the curtains made the bedroom stay casted in peaceful darkness.

Kaia was fast asleep on her side, her back facing Mapi who was buzzing with excitement.

Mapi didn't want to wake Kaia, she didn't want to disturb her wife who was up late last night planning the final details.

Details that included car rides to the dock, passport checks to board the Kaia Giovanna, timeframes to arrive at Omen and more.

Mapi couldn't wait. She had no idea what to expect other than a dream coming true; to celebrate her thirtieth birthday on a super yacht in the Mediterranean with her friends and family.

All thanks to the beautiful brunette at her side and her stupidly rich family.

Mapi places a quick kiss of appreciation on Kaia's clothed shoulder, then she practically leaps out of bed and heads into the walk-in wardrobe.

Both her and Kaia's suitcases were sat on top of their respective islands, both mostly packed but missing the odd necessity like their phone chargers, hair brushes etc.

But Mapi wasn't looking for any of that. Instead, she checked she had her snorkel packed, then she had a nosy into Kaia's suitcase to check what kind of bikinis she'd be wearing.

Sexy.

Next, she chanced her way into the nursery where Fabian was flat out on his back with Eduardo draped over his eyes dramatically.

His suitcase was full of clothes, waterproof nappies, wipes, suncream, moisturiser, sun hats, swim shorts and a few sun suits since it was predicted to be around 30 degrees.

But Mapi made sure he had a few bath toys and grabbed his mini plastic golf set Bosco bought him for his birthday.

Then, she went downstairs, fed the cats and started on breakfast as she waited for her brunettes to wake up.

Kaia woke twenty minutes later, groaning and rolling over to cuddle into Mapi who wasn't there.

Rude.

So instead, Kaia nestled into Mapi's pillow as she waited for the baby monitor, not too worried or concerned about where Mapi was.

She could smell the bacon coming in through the open balcony door, hear the soft reggaeton from the outdoor speakers.

It was familiar, comforting.

She stayed there for a good ten minutes, drifting in and out of sleep and enjoying the serine morning.

But a gentle beep from her bedside table pulls her out of her peaceful silence, lifting her head to watch Fabian sit up slowly and rub his eyes.

He soon settles back down against his pillow, reaching for the crunchy book Mapi let him go to sleep with last night.

He flicks through it slowly, staring at the pictures of lions, hippos, elephants and more safari animals until his door opens.

"Mami." Fabian realises with an happy and sleepy smile, throwing his book to the other side of his cot as he scrambles to his feet.

"Good morning, sweetheart." Kaia greets as she lifts him out and moves him straight over to the changing table.

Five minutes later, Mapi had set a fresh bottle of milk on the island as she got to making herself and Kaia fresh coffee.

So when Kaia came down with a hungry boy clung to her, she could give him his milk as she got to helping Mapi stir the eggs.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Mapi asks Fabian enthusiastically.
