"Vamos!" Mapi cheers with her arms out, ready to catch Kaia in a launching hug at full time.

They played an incredible game, as a team but also individually.

Kaia got that goal Aurelio predicted, while Mapi managed to help keep a clean sheet which had them winning the game against the team that beat them on match day one.

"It feels good." Kaia places a kiss on the side of Mapi's head, chuckling at the childishness of jumping into her wife's arms.

But it did feel good; winning in the Champions League, getting the revenge on City but most importantly putting them at the top of the group and in the best possible position moving forward.

Kaia drops her legs from around Mapi's waist and places them back on the floor, scanning over the other players and looking for teammates to high five and opponents to respectfully shake hands with.

But as Kaia leaves Mapi who was already hugging Lucy childishly, she's stopped by a calm yet somewhat sheepish Dutch voice saying her name.

Turning, she's met with Kerstin Casperij fiddling with the end of her Manchester City shirt.

"I know you're not a City fan." Kerstin tries to defend herself, but there was an amused mischief in her eyes. "But can we swap shirts?"

Kaia tuts jokingly as she takes a look at the City blue shirt. She respects Kerstin as a player and she's touched by the request, but it was a City shirt... "You know my brother will have my head if I take that shirt."

Kerstin's grin widens at the reply, her shoulders relaxing as she eases into the interaction. "I'll admit, you're my girlfriend's favourite player; besides me obviously." She chuckles. "She demanded I get your home shirt while I was here; also a picture together."

"Ah." Kaia turns to fully face the Dutchwoman. "So you don't want my shirt, your girlfriend does..." She smirks.

"Hey." Kerstin playfully points at Kaia. "But seriously, can I have your shirt?"

Kaia laughs at the bluntness, it seemed many Dutch people just said it how it is. So she takes her shirt off, nodding for Kerstin to do the same thing.

Kerstin is quick to pull her shirt off over her head, trading it with Kaia's like she was receiving a prize which she was quick to put on over her head.

Kaia on the other hand took a glance to the shirt now in her hand, shaking her head because she knew the cameras were catching this moment, she knew commentators were making jokes of it, and she knew Manchester United fans would be fuming if she put it on or even threw it over her shoulder.

So Kaia did the next best thing she could do without disrespecting Kerstin. They took that selfie together and she hugged the fullback goodbye, then she walked over to Mapi, shoving the shirt in her hand on the way past to go and shake the referees hands.

"What's this?" Mapi calls out after Kaia in confusion, unscrewing the shirt to look at the back of it. She hums in acceptance when she sees the defender's name, deciding it was one worthy of her side of their stacked shirt wall in the basement.

But despite being shirtless herself and cold, Mapi knew not to put a City shirt on and kept it neatly in her hand.

"It probably burnt her skin to touch the shirt for too long." Leila teases, their conversation having been interrupted by Kaia's brief appearance. "Anyways, good game. I'll be back to see you all for New Years."
