Patri was lying on the ground face down and practically unmoving, but there was movement from her fingers trying to grasp the grass by her head, there was the soft groaning that came from the stinging pain in her head.

Emilia stood unmoving not too far away, looking away from Patri's body and towards Jensen who was getting an earful off Alexia who was shouting at her.

Shouting.

A blur of blaugrauna darts through in Emilia's view which draws her attention back to Patri, to Kaia knelt by her side and trying to speak to her.

The medics were getting the stretcher ready on the sideline, but Kaia didn't like how Patri was lying, she didn't like how she wasn't moving much at all.

In a split second, Kaia had rolled Patri onto her back and checked her breathing on her neck.

It was shallow, so Kaia didn't need to even think before lying Patri's hand next to her head, placing the other across her chest to lie next to her head.

Then, she rolled Patri onto her side, lifting her leg by the knee for support and lifted her chin to open her airways.

By that point, Cata and Mapi were already knelt on Patri's other side which created a wall for the cameras not to see Patri's barely conscious body.

"I-is she ok?" Cata stutters, both her and Mapi completely amazed by Kaia's calmness and actions in this situation.

"I don't know." Kaia replies, her focus much more on where her fingers were pressed to Patri's pulse point to count the beats. "She's breathing normally now though."

"So she doesn't need CPR?" Mapi deduces hopefully, knowing from Kaia's actions that Patri was in a compromised position on her front.

"Well done, Kaia." Diego, the club medic praises as he drops his medical bag next to Mapi and kneels by Patri's head, replacing Kaia's fingers with his own. "Patri, Patri, can you hear me?" He asks.

"She didn't damage her neck or spine." Kaia states confidently, but Mapi could see the hint of insecurity in her eyes for moving Patri's body. "The contact was purely on her head, that's why I moved her."

Diego flashes Kaia a reassuring smile. "You did good." He reiterates. "Ok, Patri. We've got the stretcher coming, we're going to slide it up to you and slowly roll you onto your back again. But I need you to try and open your eyes." He encourages calmly.

Kaia had to stand up to get out of the way of the stretcher, looking down at her wife who was clutching Patri's hand in hers and staring at her face worriedly.

Patri's eyelids were fluttering and her breathing was thankfully deep and regular, but the lack of blood or injury on her head just made Mapi more worried.

"Hey," Alexia crouches down next to Mapi, just next to Diego. "How is she?

It was all about assessing her at the minute for the medical team, making sure Patri was ready to be moved once she fully regained consciousness.

"Here, Patri." Diego holds an oxygen inhaler towards Patri's hand still within Mapi's. "Inhale slowly."

Thankfully Patri was conscious enough to loosen her grip from Mapi's hand, but she didn't open her eyes to reach for the inhaler.

So Mapi lead it into Patri's hand, wrapping her fingers around it and guiding the mask around Patri's mouth and nose.

Diego is the one to press the button to shoot the first burst of oxygen into Patri's airways, but they were all trying to keep her involve to hopefully rouse her awake.
