My eyes slowly opened and I stared, not even knowing what I was staring at. It looked like a...foot. I blinked multiple times till I got a clearer view, it was indeed a foot.

My brows knitted in confusion. What the hell was I staring at a—

"Mrs Ferrari!" Evelyn appeared in front of me and I shot up from the sofa immediately, unknowingly shoving Bethany to the floor, she groaned while I tried to take in my surrounding.

"What is... going on?" Bethany groaned, scrambling from the floor. I let out one final sigh, looking up at Evelyn who was still standing there.

"Good morning, Mrs Ferrari" she greeted. "Morning" I grumbled, sniffing myself. We passed out in the living room, empty bottle of beer, wine and vodka and olives scattered on the table.

"Should I get a warm bath ready?" She inquired. "Yes, yes. That's very well needed" Bethany confirmed, shooting up to the sofa, knocking me over and I fell on Kourtney who was sprawled on the floor.

She cried out from the impact and I rolled over, "And Advils too" I added and she nodded and walked out. "What's all the commotion about?!" Kourtney yelled and I groaned, a pounding headache shooting through my head.

Moments later.

I scrolled through my messages, both answered and unanswered but I still hadn't gotten a message from him. Maybe my phone was bugging, I mean why the hell hasn't he texted?

Or least called!

Kourtney leaned on my shoulders, we were sitting crossed legged on the bed in my room. "Did Travis not get home last night?" She asked groggily.

"Apparently" I grumbled, checking my call logs. Maybe I missed the call. "Have you called him?" She asked and I paused, turning to her.

Why would I call him? Why would I...what will I tell him? What will be my reason for calling?

"What is Bethany still doing there?" I diverted topic immediately, looking up at the bathroom door opposite. "Bitch!" She called out but she wouldn't here us through the shower noise and her singing.

"Can we have waffles this morning?" Kourtney requested lethargically and my eyes shot to her. "That's your problem right now? It's almost 9 and none of us is at the office!" I declared.

"You have nearly 11 showered in your house and you're greedy with this one" she pointed out and I let out a long sigh and fell back on the bed. "Bethany!!!" I screamed in exasperation.

Why wasn't he back? He didn't even give a specific date, where the hell could he be?

TRAVIS'S P.O.V

I let out a sigh once I got into the car and the doors got shut. I just landed in LA and it's past 7 pm. My trip to Washington was impromptu, I needed to finalize the handover and least that asshole could have done was show up but he didn't.

I glanced down at my watch, it's been 3 days since I last saw her, I knew she would be mad at me and a brought a smile to my lips. On other days, I wouldn't want to see those angry eyes but on this very day, that was the only thing I was looking forward to.

She was the only one that could make this day less shitty.

My phone buzzed in my blazer jacket and I got it out, I glanced at the private number before answering. "Travis Ferrari" an unfamiliar voice called.

I paused, glancing over the window, the phone still over my ear. "I have better things to do with my time" I made it clear, I didn't have time for the mystery and shits.
