"Yes, right there. Stop!" I ordered and the attendants moved back from the flowerpot. "Yes perfect, thank you" I said and she nodded and walked out.
I let out another sigh and took in the place again. If you haven't already glinted, it was the Donaldson's wedding. As I said, it was taking place in the glass Church.
From the walls to the roof was all glass, letting in the natural sunlight and right outside, we got an exclusive view of the Pacific ocean.
The theme for the wedding was a baby blue and pink and white. The aisle leading up to the altar was filled with flowers, just like she wanted.
I moved around, making sure everything was in place even though I had ticked everything off my list, I just couldn't shake that feeling off.
"Pearl!" I heard my name from a distance but I couldn't tear my eyes from the preparations made. "Pearl!" Kourtney appeared in front of me, blocking my view.
"Have all the flowers being put in place?"
"Yes"
"How about the—"
"Yes Pearl. Everything is perfect" she assured but I still looked around to be sure. "Pearl" she grabbed both my hands with that smile on her lips.
"It's perfect. We did well" she assured once again and I nodded. "You need to go get changed, guest will be arriving in 5 minutes" she informed and my eyes shot open.
"Shit!" I cursed, shoving the clipboard into her hands. "How about the bride, have you—"
"Yes, she's ready. She hasn't run away and I'm sure she isn't the one we should be worried about. Talk about the groom, Jared" she chided and a smile tugged at my lips.
"Enough roasting the couples. Have you called Bethany?" I asked as we began heading to the entrance. "Yeah, she's..."
Moments later.
I knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open. Tatiana and her Father looked up, her eyes lit up once she saw me. "Pearl!" She pulled up her dress and she hurried to me.
We embraced and I couldn't help but chuckle, tapping her back lightly. My gaze met Mr Donaldson's, he had a satisfied smile on his lips as he watched us.
We finally pulled back and I took a step away, fixing her dress. It was a ball gown wedding dress, with tight bodice and full skirt to the end. She looked heavenly in the dress.
"You look breathtakingly beautiful today" I admired and she giggled. "It's all thanks to you"
"All thanks to us"
"She's right, Mrs Ferrari" Donaldson spoke up, walking to us. "It's all thanks to you, thank you for making this possible" he appreciated and I smiled.
"Of course"
He then turned back to his daughter and said few reassuring words to her which brought tears to her eyes. I let out a sigh, feeling alienated to this father—daughter moment, I couldn't relate to any of it.
I stepped out of the room to take in some air. Taking in the hallway, there was a group of men in suits posted at every corner. Knowing Mr Donaldson's reputation, I'm sure they were very much needed.
The door opened and I glanced back, he stepped out, fixing his tie, I plastered that smile back on again. "It is a beautiful day" he commented.
"It is indeed, the wedding is going to go wonderful" I chided and he nodded. An awkward silence settled between us, "Okay, I'll just go—"
"Mrs Ferrari" he stood in my way, stopping me. "I'm glad you joined us for the masquerade ball last Wednesday"
"Of course, Aiden Miller invited"
