"Bethany" Kourtney poked her but she didn't budge, she was still passed out cold on the bed. We both exchanged looks before I jumped on her and yanked her up. "Bethany!"
She only groaned, turning the other side. "Whaaat?" She rattled. "What? It's your wedding day!" Kourtney deadpanned.
There was a rapid knock on the door and we both looked up, "Are you girls up?" We heard Eric's mom call out.
"Yeah yeah... of course" I answered even though that was a lie. Bethany was barely awake and was still hungover from the rampage last night. "Alright" we waited for her retreating footsteps before turning back to Bethany who was still unconscious.
"What do we do?"
I bit my lips before getting off her. "Get her into the bath. I still have to oversee the preparations" I reminded and she nodded before pulling her off the bed but they both trashed on the floor.
I laughed, getting out my phone to take a picture. "Are you kidding me?!" Kourtney exclaimed and I continued laughing.
Moments later, I hurried down the stairs, smoothing down the little dress I had on. The house was as busy as ever, once I got out to the garden, I nodded in approval.
The vision was coming to live, attendants were fixing the decorations, the chairs, the tables, the flowers and everything, the colours consists of soft pinks, lavender, white and green.
The Garden Romance Vibe.
"I heard the bride got... shit faced last night" I spun around immediately, my gaze settling on Steven, the speaker. A smile went up my lips as we continued down the garden.
"Wanna hear a secret?" I whispered and a mischievous grin appeared on his lips as he followed me. "Yeah"
"She's still shit faced" I said and we both laughed. Steven was a good company, he helped me fix up the party last night and we've really hit it off.
He was an easy going guy.
"This is beautiful" he admired as we stopped right were the couples will be saying their vows. "It's what I do and you haven't really seen the finishing touches yet" I said and he nodded.
I didn't need to do much work today, I was inspecting everything to make sure it went perfectly well. The ceremony will begin at 1 pm and it was almost 11.
"Is your husband gonna be joining us for the wedding?" He asked and I tore my attention from the attendants and turned to him. "I can't promise anything, honestly. He could be busy"
"I understand" he nodded and I let out another sigh. "Do you mind me asking?"
"Mmm"
"How did you both meet?" He asked and a smile crept up my lips. "How we met?" I repeated and he hummed in reply.
"Well, we met at a playground or a yard" I began and he turned fully, "we were kids back then. While he was playing baseball, I was unexpectedly struck in the head by the ball. In response, I retaliated by injuring him with the bat."
