A few days into the Yule holiday, Potter Manor became hectic. Not only was the ballroom still being decorated, but Adelaide's pack and their families had also decided to move into the manor until the teenagers returned to Hogwarts. The portrait of Adelaide's great-uncle Phineas Black was an amazing addition, working to spy on Dumbledore from his portrait in the headmaster's office.

"Dumbledore is working with Fudge?" Regulus received a nod of confirmation from his niece and his uncle Phineus, who looked downright murderous in his portrait.

"This could complicate things a bit"

"A bit?-" Ron gaped at Theo, who was frowning down at the marauder's map. "Are you fucking serious?"

"Language, Ron" Arthur scolded, earning a sheepish look back from his son. Truth be told, Ron had forgotten his dad was in the room since the oldest Weasley preferred to focus on his love for all things Muggle as well as his family. Arthur trusted the adults in the room, including three Lords from families that his light family would have never associated with in the past.

"We all know Fudge is an absolute moron-" Heads turned towards Adelaide, who was sitting behind the large oak desk with her feet propped up. "And he'll follow Dumbledore around like a stray puppy — Sorry Papa, but the minister will also do anything that benefits himself in the long run. Listen... We all harness powerful magic, even if some of us are still gaining their magical education. But we are also resourceful and we aren't as closed-minded as he is. He's arrogant and while he may use others to do his dirty work, he makes sure all plans are his own. Despite being the so-called light Lord, Dumbledore underestimates the power of not only our creatures but the true and pure old magic"

Sirius, who had been listening to his daughter with pride in his heart, stood from his seat with a look of determination in his eyes. "Adelaide is right. Dumbledore had always claimed to care about our world and everyone in it, including creatures but if you think about it, with the power and influence he holds, he could have made a lot of changes to better the wizarding world. It wasn't until Adelaide arrived that the old ways were now free to be practised and the creatures had rights. I know for a fact, after many conversations between our family, that Adelaide has quite a few plans which will change everything"

"And what plans are these?" Iris Zabini's smooth voice spoke out, her dark-manicured nails wrapped around the glass containing muggle whiskey.

Remus, Adelaide and the black brothers exchanged a look before the immortal witch let out a sigh and removed her feet from the desk. She sat forward a little, interlocking her fingers and placing them on the desk with the most serious expression those in the office had ever seen. Her pack could feel the determination and nervousness flow through their bond and decided to push some reassurance her way. They watched as she sat straighter and squared her shoulders, sending the pack a smile of appreciation before turning back to acknowledge the room.

"Well... for one, Werewolves deserve a place to go for the full moon without fear of harming another-" She looked over at her uncle Remus, whose brown eyes were filled with tears and a soft smile apparent on his face. Sirius chuckled and wrapped his arm around his best friend's shoulder. "I'm also hoping that Uncle Moony will help teach them how to control their wolf during the full moon"

"Are you sure, cub? There are many werewolves around the world with not only better control but much more experience with my kind in general"

"Have a little more faith in yourself, Uncle Moony. You're an intelligent man with a ton of patience, this is something you were made to do" Luna's soft and dreamy voice gained their attention, especially Lucius' whose eyebrows raised as he noticed the younger blonde pressed into his son's side as the Malfoy heir played with one of her curls.
