Augusta and Neville Longbottom rushed through the halls of St. Mungo's after receiving a summons by an owl. Though they had no clue as to why they were called upon, they couldn't help but assume the worst. They made it to the reception desk at the end of the hall from where Frank and Alice Longbottom were housed and were met with the amazing healer who had been looking after the couple since they were brought in all those years ago.

"Healer Montgomery, we came as fast as we could. Please, tell us what is so urgent?" Neville stood beside his grandmother, fearful tears in his eyes as he prayed that he hadn't lost his parents more than he already did.

"A miracle, Ma'am. Come with me" The Longbottoms exchanged a look, eyes filled with confusion and hope before they quickly followed the healer.

Entering the ward, they noticed that the curtains were pulled back and the blinds on the windows were up, allowing natural light to beam into the room. Their eyes darted straight to the beds, only to see them empty.

"Where are my parents?" Neville questioned, his voice shaky as he looked over at the healer, who was smiling ear to ear.

Healer Montgomery opened her mouth to respond, only for their attention to be drawn to the connected bathroom, where a familiar figure stepped out.

"Adelaide?"

"Hey Nev! Hey, Gran!" She greeted them with a wide smile, moving forward to pull the pair into a welcoming embrace.

Feeling confused, Neville pulled away from his sister's arms and looked down at her with a small frown. "Uh... sister, what are you doing here?"

Neville was greeted by a beaming smile, one so bright that it made Adelaide's emerald eyes twinkle. She took Neville and Augusta's hands, guiding them to the empty beds. Once they were seated, Adelaide skipped off toward the bathroom. Grandmother and grandson watched as she peeked into the room, whispers were heard, but neither of them could recognize the quiet voices.

"Right. This may come as a bit of a shock but... I've been planning this since I returned I wanted to do this for you both"

The bathroom door slowly creaked open, and Augusta gasped loudly, her eyes brimming with tears as she watched her son and daughter-in-law enter the room. Neville sat frozen, his heart pounding violently in his chest. He noticed an awareness in his parents' eyes that he had never seen before, one that made them look so... real.

"Neville? Is that you, sweetheart?" Neville's only response to his mother was a silent nod, too shocked to form any words or move a single muscle. Alice let out a choked sob and rushed forward, pulling her son into her arms while Frank stood by, a teary smile on his face.

It took Neville a moment to understand what was happening, but as soon as he caught the scent of his mother, he burst into heartbreaking sobs. Augusta pulled her son into her arms, weeping softly as they exchanged quiet words. Meanwhile, Adelaide stood to the side, feeling a mix of heaviness and warmth in her heart. It was amazing to witness such a reunion, especially one involving her family, but she couldn't shake the small bit of envy that lingered within her. She knew she would never experience something like this. While she was grateful to have her parents in spirit and still had her papa, she longed to be in her mother's and father's arms.

"Oh, Adelaide..." The immortal witch was pulled into her gran's arms, the embrace tight which showed Adelaide all the appreciation the older witch felt. "T-Thank you... how could we ever repay you?"

Adelaide pulled back with a soft smile on her face. "You're my family, there's no payment needed Gran"

"We're up to date on most of what's going on, it's a shame that the headmaster turned out to be an absolute prick"
