Felix had always considered himself pretty average. He worked a regular job, lived in a small apartment, and spent most of his nights gaming or scrolling through social media. That's why, when he was dragged into a black van one evening while walking home from the convenience store, he had no idea what was happening.

The world blurred as a blindfold covered his eyes, voices barking orders in a language he didn't quite understand. He was Korean but born in Australia so he was just learning Korean. Panic surged through him as he was shoved onto the cold, leather seat. "Who are you? What do you want?" he stammered, his voice trembling with fear.

No one answered.

The van sped off, tires screeching, and Felix's mind raced with questions. Was this a case of mistaken identity? Had he done something wrong without knowing it?

Felix's heart raced as the van screeched to a halt. He was yanked out roughly, the blindfold pulled off, and he found himself standing in a dimly lit warehouse. His vision swam, adjusting to the low light, but one thing was clear—the seven men in front of him weren't ordinary. Each of them carried an air of authority, their eyes sharp, movements precise. He knew immediately: these were dangerous men.

"Is this the guy?" one of them, tall with striking blond hair and an intimidating gaze, muttered as he stepped closer. Felix shrank back instinctively, unable to respond.

The leader, a man with broad shoulders and dark hair—someone Felix immediately assumed to be the boss—took a closer look at him, frowning. His eyes narrowed in confusion. "Hold up," he said, his voice low but carrying authority. "Minho, check the file again."

Minho, with an annoyed sigh, flipped through a set of papers, his eyes scanning quickly. "Uh... Boss, I don't think this is him."

Felix blinked. What? A mix of hope and terror surged through him. If they had the wrong person, maybe he could get out of this.

"What do you mean, you don't think?" the man standing next to the leader snapped, crossing his arms. Felix's eyes darted to him—muscular, intense, and clearly not someone who liked mistakes. He must've been the enforcer or something.

"Changbin's right," the leader said, a tinge of frustration creeping into his voice. "What are you saying, Minho?"

Minho, unfazed, held up the paper with a slight smirk. "I'm saying this guy"—he pointed at Felix—"is not our target. Not even close."

Hyunjin, who had been lounging against the wall in an almost bored fashion, finally looked up and narrowed his eyes. "You've got to be kidding me. We grabbed the wrong guy? How does that even happen?"

Jisung, the one who had been pacing nervously, rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, uh... What do we do with him now?"

Felix's mouth went dry. This was his chance. He cleared his throat, trying to sound calm, though his heart was hammering in his chest. "Look, I don't know who you guys are or what you want, but this is a mistake. You've got the wrong person. So, if you could just... let me go, I won't say a word about any of this. I swear."

The leader locked eyes with him. There was a glint of something in his gaze, but Felix couldn't tell if it was sympathy or just calculation. Chan glanced at the others, silent for a moment before sighing heavily. "We can't let him go."

Felix froze. "W-what?"

Jeongin, the youngest of the group, shifted uncomfortably. "He's seen us now, hyung. We can't just let him walk out of here."

Seungmin, who had been quiet until now, nodded in agreement. "It's too risky. You know what happens if word gets out about us."

Felix felt his stomach drop. They were serious. His voice trembled as he tried to speak again. "Look, I don't want any trouble. I won't say a word, I promise—"

"You think we can just take your word for it?" Changbin interrupted, stepping closer. "That's not how this works."

Felix's eyes darted to Chan, hoping for some kind of reprieve. "Please," he whispered.

Chan ran a hand through his hair, visibly frustrated. He looked at his group, then back at Felix. "We'll figure this out, but for now, you're staying with us. What's your name?"

"Felix." Felix's heart sank as he whispered. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

The room was quiet, the tension thick in the air as Felix sat on the worn leather couch, his hands trembling in his lap. His mind was racing, replaying the events of the last few hours—the kidnapping, the realization that he wasn't who they wanted, and now the terrifying truth that they wouldn't let him go.

Chan, sitting across from him, cleared his throat, his voice calm but firm. "Alright, Felix. There are a few rules you're going to have to follow while you're here."

Felix swallowed hard, his throat dry. He didn't want to be here, didn't want to be involved in whatever this was, but he had no choice. His chest tightened, fear bubbling up inside him, but he nodded weakly, barely hearing Chan's words as he spoke.

"No leaving the house without one of us," Chan continued. "You won't be going anywhere alone, understood?"

Felix nodded again, trying to focus, but his vision was starting to blur. This can't be real. I have to wake up. His breathing quickened, the room feeling smaller and smaller.

"Don't touch anything that isn't yours," Jisung added from his spot by the wall. "And don't go snooping around where you're not supposed to."

Hyunjin, sitting beside Jisung, glanced at Felix, noticing how pale he'd become. "Hey, are you even listening?"

Felix blinked rapidly, his heart pounding in his ears. He opened his mouth to answer, but the words stuck in his throat. The walls felt like they were closing in, their voices echoing around him, and the reality of the situation hit him like a wave. He wasn't getting out of this. He was trapped here, with these dangerous men, and there was no escape.

"I—" Felix stammered, his voice breaking. He couldn't hold it in any longer. Tears welled up in his eyes, and before he could stop himself, they started spilling down his cheeks. His chest heaved with shallow breaths as he tried to speak again. "I don't want to be here. Please... I-I'm scared."

The room went still. The others exchanged glances, caught off guard by the sudden breakdown. Even Changbin, who had been leaning against the wall with a cold expression, looked slightly uncomfortable.

Felix buried his face in his hands, his body shaking as he cried. He couldn't stop it now, the fear overwhelming him. All the tension, the confusion, the terror—it was too much.

"Ah, shit," Minho muttered, running a hand through his hair. He had been standing off to the side, watching quietly, his usual icy demeanor in place. But now, seeing Felix like this, something shifted. He sighed, walking over and crouching down in front of Felix.

"Hey," Minho said, his voice low but surprisingly soft. Felix didn't respond, still sobbing into his hands, but Minho didn't back away. "Look, stop crying. It's not going to help anything."

Felix hiccuped, trying to stifle his sobs, but the fear still gripped him tightly. "I-I'm sorry, I—"

"Hey." Minho's voice softened further, and to everyone's surprise, he reached out, pulling Felix's hands away from his face. "It's okay. You're not in danger right now. Just breathe, alright?"

Felix looked up at Minho through tear-filled eyes, his lip trembling. The others exchanged odd looks. Minho, the one who was the coldest of them all, was... comforting him?

The others watched in silence as Minho gently pulled Felix toward him. Felix's breathing was still shaky, but he let himself be guided, too exhausted to resist. He clung to Minho, resting his head against his shoulder as the sobs slowly began to subside.

"There you go," Minho said quietly, his hand resting on the back of Felix's head. "Just breathe."

Felix, still trembling, closed his eyes, the warmth of Minho's presence slowly calming the storm inside him. He didn't understand why, but in that moment, Minho's touch was the only thing grounding him.

After a few minutes, Felix's breathing slowed, his body exhausted from the crying. Without realizing it, he began to drift off, the fear ebbing away into the background. The last thing he heard before sleep took him was Minho's soft voice in his ear.

"Get some rest. We'll talk about the rules later."

The others exchanged looks, surprised by the unexpected tenderness from Minho, but none of them said a word. Felix, for now, was safe in Minho's arms, asleep before he even realized what had happened.

As Felix's soft breaths evened out, his body relaxed in Minho's arms. Minho sat back against the couch, still holding Felix close, as if he had done this a hundred times before. The others, sitting in the dimly lit room, exchanged glances. It wasn't often that they found themselves in situations like this—especially with a stranger who'd been dragged into their world by accident.

Chan leaned back in his chair, watching the scene with a faint frown. "This feels... weird, right?"

Hyunjin, perched on the edge of the table, raised an eyebrow. "You mean the part where the guy we kidnapped is now sleeping on Minho's shoulder?" His voice was light, but the confusion in his eyes was real.

"No, not just that," Chan said, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know. There's something about him. It's not normal for someone in his situation to, you know, be this... comfortable."

Changbin snorted, though his usual edge was softer. "Comfortable? The kid was terrified. You saw that."

"Yeah, but still." Jisung's voice cut in, quieter than usual. He'd been leaning against the wall, arms crossed, watching Felix sleep. "I don't know what it is either. It's like—when he started crying, I just... felt like we had to protect him. Like he didn't belong in this mess but, at the same time, I couldn't let him go."

Seungmin, who had been observing silently, nodded. "I get that. He doesn't fit in here, but something about him makes me feel like..." He trailed off, trying to find the right words. "Like he's supposed to be here with us. It doesn't make sense."

Minho, still holding Felix, glanced down at the sleeping figure in his arms. "He's not a threat," he muttered, his voice low. "That much is obvious. He's scared, out of his mind, but..." His fingers absentmindedly brushed through Felix's hair, something gentle in the gesture. "It's like he's pulling something out of us. I can't explain it."

Jeongin, the youngest, spoke up hesitantly. "It's strange. I don't even know him, but I feel like I don't want him to leave. Like we're connected somehow. That's crazy, right?"

Chan sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Maybe. But I'm feeling it too. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about Felix that... it feels important."

The group fell into a contemplative silence, each of them processing their feelings. This wasn't just about keeping Felix because he'd seen too much, or because it was safer to have him under their watch. There was a deeper pull—an unspoken connection that none of them could quite explain.

Hyunjin broke the silence with a soft laugh, though there was no humor in it. "We really kidnapped the wrong person, huh?"

Changbin nodded, his expression softening as he looked at Felix. "Maybe, but... it feels like we also got the right person somehow."

Felix stirred slightly in his sleep, nuzzling closer to Minho's chest, completely unaware of the conversation happening around him. Minho let out a quiet sigh, his arms still cradling Felix protectively. "Whatever it is," he murmured, "he's with us now. We'll figure it out."

Chan nodded, his gaze settling on Felix once more. "Yeah," he said quietly, a rare softness in his voice. "We will."

The next morning, Felix woke slowly, blinking against the soft morning light filtering into the unfamiliar room. His body ached from the tension of the previous day, but there was a strange warmth around him, a reminder of the way he had fallen asleep, exhausted and broken from his panic. He realized he was still curled against Minho, his arm wrapped around him like a lifeline.

The realization made him tense up again, the events of the night flooding back to him in a rush. I'm still here. I didn't dream any of it. Panic bubbled up, but it was subdued compared to the chaos he'd felt yesterday. Minho, for all his cold demeanor, hadn't let go, and somehow, Felix had clung to him like a safety net.

He could hear faint voices from the kitchen, and as much as Felix wanted to hide, he knew he had to face them. Slowly, he peeled himself away from Minho, who stirred but didn't wake completely. Felix stood, feeling out of place and unsure, until he heard Minho's quiet voice.

"You're not going to run, are you?"

Felix froze, turning to see Minho's eyes open, watching him carefully. He shook his head. He didn't even know where he'd go if he tried.

Minho stretched and stood up, his expression unreadable but his touch gentle as he guided Felix toward the kitchen. "Come on. We need to talk."

When they entered the kitchen, the rest of the group was already seated around a long table, their expressions serious but not threatening. The tension in Felix's chest grew as he instinctively reached out and clung to Minho's arm, his fingers gripping the fabric of his shirt. He could feel the eyes of the others on him, but Minho didn't push him away. In fact, he stood a little closer, as if offering some unspoken reassurance.

Chan, seated at the head of the table, looked up and gave Felix a calm, reassuring smile. "Morning, Felix. How are you feeling?"

Felix didn't know how to answer that. How was he supposed to feel? He gave a small shrug, his voice barely above a whisper. "I... don't know."

Chan nodded, understanding. "Look, we know you didn't ask for any of this, and we're sorry about what happened. But you've seen things... things you can't unsee. So, we can't let you go."

The words hit Felix like a punch, and his grip on Minho tightened. They're not letting me go. He felt his throat close up again, but before the panic could overwhelm him, Chan raised a hand, his voice gentle.

"But listen. You're not in danger from us, Felix. I promise you that. We're not going to hurt you. We just... need you to stay with us. At least for now. Until we figure this out."

Felix looked around at the faces of the others. Jisung, Seungmin, Jeongin, Changbin, and Hyunjin all looked serious but not hostile. In fact, there was a kind of quiet concern in their eyes that Felix hadn't expected. His fear was still there, gnawing at the edges of his mind, but it was different now—less about what they'd do to him and more about the unknown of this situation.

"We have a few rules," Chan continued. "They're just to make sure you're safe, and that we all stay on the same page. First, you can't leave the house without one of us. It's too risky for you to be out there alone, and... we can't afford to take any chances."

Felix nodded numbly, still clinging to Minho's arm.

"No snooping," Hyunjin added with a faint smirk. "There are things here you don't need to know about, for your own good."

"You'll be with one of us at all times," Jisung chimed in. "But we'll give you space when you need it. We're not here to smother you, but we have to keep an eye on you. It's part of the deal."

Felix swallowed hard. The rules sounded like a prison sentence, but the way they were explaining them... it didn't feel like a threat. He still didn't understand any of this—why they were being so gentle with him, why Minho hadn't pushed him away even though he was practically glued to his side—but he was too scared to ask. Too overwhelmed.

"We know this isn't easy for you," Seungmin added, his voice soft. "But we're not your enemies, Felix."

Changbin leaned forward, resting his arms on the table, his gaze steady. "We've got your back, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. You're in this with us now, whether you like it or not."

Felix's eyes stung again, and he blinked rapidly to hold back the tears. He didn't want to cry again, not in front of them. But the weight of the situation felt like too much. His life, his freedom, had been stripped from him, and now he was at the mercy of these men.

But there was something else—something he couldn't quite place. He wasn't just a hostage here. They cared, in some strange, unspoken way. He could feel it.

Minho, sensing Felix's trembling, gently pried Felix's hand from his arm and placed it over his own, letting Felix hold onto him more securely. The touch was grounding, and Felix found himself relaxing, just a little.

"You're not alone here," Minho said quietly, his voice softer than Felix had ever heard it. "We'll make this work. You'll be fine."

Felix glanced up at him, still scared, but now there was a small glimmer of something else—maybe trust, or at least the possibility of it. He didn't know why, but Minho's presence calmed him in a way that made no sense.

Chan gave a nod of approval, as if they had reached some kind of unspoken agreement. "Take your time, Felix. We're not rushing you. But you're safe with us. That's a promise."

Felix gave a small, shaky nod, still holding tightly to Minho. For now, he would stay. Not because he wanted to, but because, somehow, being with them didn't feel like the worst thing. And maybe—just maybe—they really were telling the truth.

Over the following weeks, Felix slowly found his footing in the house, surprising himself with how close he became to the members. Each of them had their own way of drawing Felix in, and though it had been overwhelming at first, it soon became a strange kind of comfort. Despite the circumstances that brought him here, the group had welcomed him in their own unique ways, and Felix found himself opening up to each of them.

Chan, with his steady leadership and gentle guidance, was like the older brother Felix never had. He was the one Felix could talk to when he felt overwhelmed by everything, always ready to listen and offer quiet advice. Chan made sure Felix felt included, checking in on him during group discussions and easing him into their routines without pushing too hard. His calm presence was a constant reassurance, and Felix grew to trust him deeply.

Changbin, who had once seemed intimidating with his tough exterior and sharp tongue, turned out to be one of the most protective. He had a way of showing his care through actions rather than words—checking in on Felix's well-being, subtly standing between him and danger, or pulling him into workouts to help Felix feel stronger and more in control. They didn't talk much at first, but over time, Felix saw through Changbin's tough front and appreciated the quiet ways he looked out for him.

Hyunjin and Jisung, the mischievous duo, became Felix's main source of laughter. They had an energy that was infectious, constantly teasing him, pulling him into their pranks, or making jokes to lighten the mood. Though they sometimes drove Felix to the brink of frustration, their humor helped him cope with the anxiety that still lingered beneath the surface. They treated him like a younger brother, but there was a warmth to their antics that made Felix feel like he was truly a part of something.

Seungmin, with his quiet intelligence and dry wit, was a stabilizing force for Felix. He was often the voice of reason when things got chaotic, and Felix found himself gravitating toward Seungmin during the more serious moments. Though he wasn't as openly affectionate as the others, Seungmin had a way of offering silent support when Felix needed it the most, whether it was a shared glance during a stressful conversation or a quiet moment of companionship.

Jeongin, the youngest, was the easiest for Felix to relate to. They were close in age, and Jeongin understood Felix's feelings of confusion and uncertainty better than anyone else. They often spent time together, talking about lighter things—music, movies, anything that took their minds off the heaviness of the situation. Jeongin had a way of making Felix feel less alone, and their friendship blossomed quickly.

But it was with Minho that Felix grew the closest.

From the start, Felix had clung to Minho, almost instinctively, and over time, that connection only deepened. Minho wasn't the most verbally affectionate, and he wasn't always gentle in the traditional sense, but Felix found comfort in his presence. Minho had a way of making Felix feel safe without having to say much—whether it was a casual hand on Felix's shoulder or the way he always seemed to be nearby when Felix needed grounding.

They spent a lot of time together, often without words. Felix would follow Minho around the house, watching as he went about his day, and Minho never seemed to mind. In fact, Felix suspected Minho liked having him close. There were moments when Felix would catch Minho's soft gaze lingering on him, the faintest hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. It was in those moments that Felix felt a warmth spread through him, a comfort he hadn't expected to find.

Minho, in his quiet way, became Felix's anchor. When the world felt too overwhelming, it was Minho who would sit beside him in silence, offering nothing more than his steady presence. When Felix had bad dreams, it was Minho who let him curl up on the couch beside him, his hand gently resting on Felix's back until the anxiety ebbed away.

And Felix, for his part, found himself falling deeper into that closeness. He hadn't expected to feel so safe, so seen, especially not by someone like Minho, who had first appeared distant and cold. But now, he found himself seeking out Minho whenever the house felt too big, too unfamiliar. He would sit beside him, watching as Minho read or worked, content just to be near him.

Each day brought Felix closer to all of them, but with Minho, it was different. There was a quiet understanding between them, a bond that went beyond words. It wasn't just safety he felt when he was with Minho—it was something deeper, something that made him feel like, maybe, he belonged here after all.

The group had gathered in the living room, the low hum of the house providing a quiet background to their conversation. The topic, unspoken but understood, was Felix. He was in the kitchen, busy baking brownies—a small, normal activity that had become a comforting routine for him, and a way to give him a sense of control over something. The others had noticed how much he had grown over the past few weeks, how he had started to settle into their world, and how their once chaotic household now felt different with him in it.

Chan sat at the head of the room, his expression thoughtful as he glanced around at the others. The others were scattered in various spots—Changbin leaning against the wall, Hyunjin and Jisung lounging on the couch, Seungmin with his arms crossed, and Jeongin sitting on the floor, his gaze on the ground. It was a rare moment of calm in their usually chaotic world, and for once, it felt like they were able to breathe.

Chan broke the silence, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "You know, I've been thinking a lot about Felix. About everything that's happened since he got here." He paused, running a hand through his hair. "He's been through so much, and still, he's found a way to be... with us. I think he's the missing piece we didn't even know we needed."

The others exchanged glances, all of them listening intently, but it was clear they all felt the same way. Something had changed since Felix had arrived. They'd all grown closer, and the atmosphere in the house felt less tense, less like a constant power struggle and more like a family. It was a shift none of them had anticipated.

Changbin was the first to speak, his voice gruff but sincere. "He doesn't act like the rest of us. He doesn't carry the same weight or the same darkness. But he's got this light in him. It's like he's reminding us that we're still... human."

Hyunjin, who had been idly fiddling with the sleeve of his hoodie, nodded. "Yeah, it's like he's not just fitting into our world. He's changing it. He makes us feel like... people. Not just some mafia group. I don't know, maybe that sounds cheesy, but that's what it feels like."

Jisung, who had been listening closely, gave a soft chuckle. "He's definitely got this way of making everything feel less heavy. He's always smiling, or trying to, even when things are tough. It's like he brings this normality to all the chaos."

Chan smiled slightly, his gaze softening. "Exactly. It's more than just his presence. It's like Felix is the one who's teaching us how to live in this house without being constantly on guard. He's the missing piece that brings us together, reminds us of who we were before all this." He let out a long breath, his voice barely above a whisper. "He's the piece that makes us feel like we're not just a family of criminals."

There was a silence that followed, a comfortable quiet that seemed to stretch between them. It was clear that Felix had already had a profound impact on them, and not just as someone they had to look after, but as someone who had brought something they hadn't even realized they'd lost.

Minho, who had been uncharacteristically quiet throughout the conversation, shifted slightly, his gaze drifting toward the kitchen where Felix was still working. He had a rare vulnerability in his eyes, something only the others could pick up on. His voice, when he spoke, was quieter than the others, but it carried the weight of truth.

"I've been thinking a lot about Felix too," Minho said, his words carefully chosen. The others looked at him, surprised by his sudden openness. "The truth is, I... I'm falling for him." His admission hung in the air, and for a moment, the room was still. It wasn't like Minho to be so direct, so vulnerable, but something about Felix had gotten under his skin in a way he couldn't ignore.

The others exchanged glances, their reactions a mix of surprise and understanding. It wasn't hard to see why Minho felt this way. They had all grown close to Felix, but Minho's bond with him was different. It was deeper, more protective, and the way Felix seemed to gravitate toward him only reinforced it.

Seungmin, ever observant, nodded slowly, his voice quiet but supportive. "It's not hard to see. You've been there for him more than anyone. And I think he's... starting to rely on you."

Hyunjin grinned, his usual playful demeanor still present. "Well, we all knew Minho had a soft spot, but it looks like Felix found it."

Changbin crossed his arms and shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips. "You're both idiots. But it's obvious. Felix trusts you, Minho. He trusts all of us, but especially you."

Jisung tilted his head, his tone light but thoughtful. "Maybe it's more than just trust. Maybe it's something else. Like he's giving you a piece of himself too."

Minho exhaled slowly, his gaze still on the kitchen, but his focus clearly on Felix. "He's different. He's not like the rest of us, and I think that's what makes it so easy to care about him. It's not just about protecting him anymore. It's about wanting to make sure he's okay. Wanting to make sure he's happy."

There was a pause, and the weight of their collective feelings seemed to settle over the room. It was strange for them to acknowledge these emotions—feelings they had been keeping under the surface for so long—but there was something about Felix that had unlocked parts of them they thought they'd lost.

"Whatever happens," Chan said softly, looking around at the group, "we protect him. He's a part of us now. We owe him that much, at least."

The others nodded in agreement, their expressions resolute. Minho, feeling the warmth of the group's support, gave a small, rare smile. Felix had, in a sense, brought them together in a way they hadn't even realized they needed. And for the first time in a long time, Minho felt like he had something to fight for—something worth protecting beyond just their world of shadows and secrets.

Felix was more than just an accident. He was the one who had truly changed their lives. And, for Minho, he was the one who had started to change his heart.

Two months later the boys returned in the dead of night, the air thick with tension. The mission had been dangerous, more than any of them had expected. As the front door creaked open, Chan appeared first, his face as pale as the moonlight that flooded the entryway. His eyes were wide, filled with urgency and distress. In his arms, Minho was unconscious, his shirt soaked through with blood.

Felix, who had been waiting in the living room, felt his heart drop as he saw the scene before him. His blood ran cold, and he stumbled forward, panic rising in his chest. "Minho!" he cried, rushing to help Chan.

"He's been shot," Chan murmured, his voice tight. "We need to get him patched up fast."

Felix's hands shook as he gently helped Chan lower Minho onto the couch, his eyes scanning Minho's pale face. His heart thudded painfully in his chest as he took in the sight—the blood, the wound, the shallow rise and fall of Minho's breathing. Felix dropped to his knees beside the couch, his hands trembling as he began to unbutton Minho's shirt carefully.

"Please be okay," Felix whispered, his voice breaking. He didn't even notice the tears welling up in his eyes as he pressed a cloth against the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.

Chan glanced over at Felix, concern etched on his face. "I'll grab the first aid kit. Stay with him, Felix. He needs you."

Felix nodded, his focus entirely on Minho. He pressed a gentle kiss to Minho's forehead, whispering softly, "Please don't leave me. Please don't leave us."

Time seemed to stretch as Felix worked, his hands steadying as he cleaned the wound, stitched up the gash as best he could, and wrapped it tightly. It felt like the longest few hours of his life, his entire being consumed by worry and fear for the man lying before him.

When it was finally done, Felix leaned back on his heels, exhausted but relieved that Minho was stable. He watched the steady rise and fall of Minho's chest, his own hands still trembling. The house was silent except for the occasional creak of the floorboards and the soft ticking of the clock.

Felix, overwhelmed with emotion, didn't even realize that the tears were streaming down his cheeks. He reached out to gently stroke Minho's hair, brushing it away from his face, and his heart ached with an intensity he had never felt before. He let out a quiet sob, his voice barely a whisper as he spoke to the unconscious man.

Felix's voice cracked as he spoke, the weight of his feelings pressing down on him. He didn't think anyone could hear him, but his words were a raw outpouring of emotion, and he couldn't stop them. His fingers gently brushed through Minho's hair as he whispered, "I'm in love with you, Minho. I don't care about anything else right now. I don't care that this might be wrong or that I shouldn't feel this way. You... you mean everything to me. And it's not just you. I love all of them, like brothers. I don't know how, but you've all made me feel like I belong here."

The house was still, the only sound the quiet ticking of the clock on the wall. Felix felt his chest tighten, the intensity of his emotions making his words tremble. "I've never felt this way before. You all make me feel like I've found a family. Even if I was just a mistake at first, I don't care. I'm home, and I don't want to lose that. I love you all."

His voice trembled with his last words, and he took a shuddering breath, wiping at the tears on his cheeks. He was so lost in his confession that he didn't hear the quiet shuffle of feet in the doorway or the sound of soft breathing just beyond the threshold.

Suddenly Felix looked up and froze, standing there, watching him with wide, surprised eyes, were Chan and Jeongin.

Felix's face flushed with embarrassment, his heart racing as the reality of the moment crashed down on him. "You... you heard?" His voice was barely a whisper, but it was filled with shame and uncertainty.

Chan stepped into the room, his expression gentle but serious. He walked over to Felix, kneeling beside him, while Jeongin lingered behind him, his expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "Felix," Chan began softly, "we've been trying to give you space to process all this. But we've heard you, and... well, there's something we need to say too."

Felix's heart sank, a mix of dread and hope swirling inside him as he looked up at them. "I'm sorry," he whispered, tears threatening to spill again. "I didn't mean to make things awkward—"

Chan shook his head, his voice firm but kind. "It's not awkward, Felix. In fact, we've all felt something similar. We just didn't know how to say it." He paused, taking a deep breath, and glanced at Jeongin before continuing. "You're not just a mistake to us. You're a part of this family now. We all feel it, whether we've said it or not."

Jeongin stepped forward, his voice soft but sincere. "I've seen how much you care for Minho. And it's clear you've grown close to all of us. But... I've always felt this warmth when you're around. You're like the missing piece we didn't know we were looking for, Felix."

Felix blinked, trying to process their words through the haze of his emotions. The room was heavy with tension, but not the kind that made him feel unwelcome—rather, it was the kind of tension that spoke of understanding, of shared feelings finally being brought to light.

"I don't know what to say," Felix whispered, his voice shaky. "I never expected... I mean, I didn't want to burden you guys with all of this."

Chan smiled softly, his hand resting on Felix's shoulder. "Felix, you haven't burdened any of us. You've done the opposite. You've brought us together in ways we didn't expect. We all feel the same way, in our own ways. We're a family, and that includes you, Felix."

Felix's heart swelled as he looked at them, the emotions threatening to overwhelm him. He turned his gaze back to Minho, who had been sleeping through most of this conversation. His feelings for Minho were so strong, and yet this—this closeness, this sense of family that extended beyond just one person—it felt like something he had longed for his entire life.

"Felix..." Minho's voice was faint, but the sound of it made Felix freeze in his tracks. His head snapped up, and he looked down at Minho, his heart jumping in his chest as Minho's eyes fluttered open.

Minho's voice was weak, but he managed a small, almost pained smile. "I heard you."

Felix's breath hitched in his throat. He opened his mouth to say something, but the words caught in his throat, overwhelmed by the realization that Minho had heard every single word.

Minho's hand, weak but determined, reached out, finding Felix's and holding it with as much strength as he could muster. "I feel the same," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I... I'm in love with you too, Felix."

Tears welled up in Felix's eyes again, but this time, they were tears of relief and happiness. He felt the warmth of Minho's hand in his, the warmth of his words sinking in, giving him the reassurance he so desperately needed.

"You're not a mistake, Felix," Minho murmured, his hand gently squeezing Felix's. "You were always meant to be here. With us."

Felix let out a soft sob, his body trembling as he leaned over and buried his face in Minho's shoulder. For the first time in weeks, he felt truly at peace. The fear that had gripped him earlier had dissipated, replaced by a rush of love and certainty.

Chan, who had been watching quietly with Jeongin by his side, gave a small nod and a knowing look to Jeongin. They both turned away, leaving the two alone in the room. It was a moment that, though quiet, held the weight of everything that had been building between them.

Felix stayed there, his head resting against Minho's shoulder, allowing himself to fully absorb the warmth of Minho's words, knowing, deep down, that this—this fragile yet strong bond between them—was something neither of them could ever deny.

The atmosphere in the house had grown softer over the past few weeks. The tension from the dangerous missions and dark pasts of the mafia still lingered in the air, but it had been tempered by the presence of Felix, who brought a warmth and light that they had all come to cherish.

Minho had been recovering well, though the injury from the mission still left him weakened. Felix stayed by his side, not out of obligation, but out of a deep, growing affection. His love for Minho had only strengthened since that night of confession, and the bond between them felt undeniable.

Now, as Minho sat on the couch, propped up with pillows, Felix was kneeling beside him, carefully tending to his injury. The air was quiet, save for the soft rustle of the bandage as Felix wrapped it around Minho's shoulder.

"Does it still hurt?" Felix asked quietly, his voice laced with concern as he met Minho's gaze.

Minho, though clearly still in discomfort, smiled softly. "A little. But it's bearable." His eyes held warmth, but beneath the light, Felix could see how exhausted Minho truly was, both physically and emotionally.

Felix leaned down, gently pressing a kiss to Minho's cheek, and softly whispered, "I'm here. I'll always be here." His fingers lingered against Minho's skin for a moment longer before he pulled back, settling beside him on the couch.

Minho's expression softened, his eyes flicking to Felix's, and something unspoken passed between them—an understanding, a promise.

"I don't know what I would've done without you these past few weeks," Minho murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

Felix's lips curled into a gentle smile. "You don't have to worry about that anymore. I'm not going anywhere."

Minho's hand, still a little weak, found Felix's. He squeezed it gently. "I'm glad you're here, Felix."

The quiet moment between them was interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Chan stepped inside, his face serious, but there was a faint concern in his eyes as he glanced between Felix and Minho.

"Minho," Chan started, his voice low, "how are you feeling? We're heading out soon. You sure you're okay?"

Minho gave a small nod, but Felix could see the way he winced ever so slightly as he moved. "I'll be fine," he said, trying to sound more confident than he felt.

Chan's gaze shifted to Felix then, and Felix could sense that something was on his mind. The air in the room had subtly shifted, a tension settling between them that didn't quite feel like danger. It was something else.

"Felix," Chan said, his tone gentle but measured, "I need to talk to you about something. It's a mission. We've been tracking someone for a while now. He's a dangerous guy, and we've been trying to get him for months."

Felix looked up at Chan, sensing the seriousness in his voice. "What's the mission?" he asked, his heart suddenly picking up pace.

Chan glanced over at Minho, then back at Felix. "The target is a man who's been trafficking information. He's elusive, but he has a certain type. A specific... preference."

Felix's brow furrowed slightly, confused. "A preference?" he asked.

Chan hesitated before continuing. "He has a thing for pretty boys. He likes them young, charming, and easy to manipulate. We've been working on this for a while, trying to get him to take the bait. And I think..." Chan paused, letting the words sink in. "I think you're perfect for it."

Felix's eyes widened in surprise. "Me?"

Chan nodded. "You fit the profile he's been targeting. I know it's dangerous, but we need to get close to him, and this might be the only way. I don't want to send you into this blindly, but you're the one who could get through to him."

Felix's heart raced. He understood what Chan was saying, but it didn't stop the fear from gnawing at the edges of his thoughts. The idea of being used as bait was terrifying, but he also understood the necessity of it. He glanced at Minho, his chest tightening at the thought of putting himself in danger. Minho was still recovering, and Felix hated the idea of being apart from him, especially under such dangerous circumstances.

Minho, sensing Felix's hesitation, looked over at Chan and then back to Felix. His voice was quiet, but firm. "Felix, I don't want you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. You don't have to. We'll figure something else out."

Chan's gaze softened at Minho's words, but his tone remained practical. "We're not putting Felix in unnecessary danger. But if anyone can get through to this guy, it's him. We can keep him safe. We'll be there the entire time."

Felix's mind was racing, torn between the urgency of the mission and his overwhelming desire to stay by Minho's side. But the truth was, Chan was right—he could play the part of the bait. And deep down, Felix knew that he had to do this, for the family, for the bond they all shared. It wasn't just about the mission—it was about protecting the people he loved.

Taking a deep breath, Felix finally spoke, his voice quieter than usual but resolute. "Okay. I'll do it. But you have to promise me you'll keep me safe. And if things get too dangerous, I don't care what happens—I need to come back."

Chan's eyes met his, the weight of responsibility settling on his shoulders. "You have my word. We'll make sure you're safe, Felix."

As the room fell silent, the tension between them was palpable. Minho, his face tense but understanding, squeezed Felix's hand. Felix could see the concern in his eyes, but also something more—pride. Minho knew the kind of courage it took to agree to something like this.

Felix turned to Minho, his heart heavy with the thought of leaving him. "I'll be back before you know it, okay?"

Minho's eyes softened as he reached up, cupping Felix's cheek gently. "I know you will," he whispered. "But please, be careful. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Felix leaned into Minho's touch, pressing a kiss to his palm. "I'll come back to you. I promise."

Chan nodded toward the door, signaling it was time to get ready. "We'll make sure this mission goes smoothly. You've got this, Felix."

As Felix followed Chan out of the room, Minho watched him leave, a mixture of pride, fear, and love flooding his chest. He knew Felix had a strength within him that he'd never fully understood until now. But more than that, he knew Felix was doing this for the family—doing this because he loved them all. And that, above all else, made Minho's heart ache with gratitude.

The mission was supposed to be simple. Felix had been tasked with luring Tyler, their target, into a back room at the club, where the rest of the crew would be waiting. Everyone but Minho, who was recovering from his previous injury, was in position. Felix was the bait, and he knew it. It was dangerous, but necessary. He trusted the plan.

But what they hadn't counted on was how much Tyler had taken a liking to Felix. What was meant to be a quick, easy capture soon turned into something darker. Tyler's fixation on Felix grew, and soon it became clear that he had more in mind than just capturing him. He wanted Felix for himself.

Inside the club, Felix was leading Tyler through the dimly lit corridors. He kept his steps light, maintaining his role as bait, but as they neared the private room, Felix's gut twisted with the growing sense of danger. The door was cracked, but Tyler's hand remained tight on Felix's arm, a cold grip that sent a shiver down his spine.

Before Felix could react, the blow came from behind—a sharp pain to the back of his head, and then everything went black. He slumped, unconscious in Tyler's arms.

Jeongin, who had been monitoring the situation through the comms, suddenly felt his stomach drop. Something was off. He couldn't shake the feeling that they weren't just dealing with a routine capture anymore. He glanced at Chan, who was waiting near the club's entrance.

"Chan," Jeongin whispered, his voice tight with concern. "Something's not right. We need to move in now."

Chan's brow furrowed, his own instincts kicking in. "Alright. Let's go."

The crew moved swiftly, slipping through the back entrance of the club and down the hall. As they neared the room where Felix had been taken, Jeongin's pulse quickened. He was right—something was terribly wrong.

The door was slightly ajar, and they could hear muffled sounds from inside. It was too quiet. Then, as they approached, the unmistakable sound of fabric shifting, a zipper being pulled, made Chan's stomach churn.

Without a word, Chan kicked the door open. The scene before them was nothing short of a nightmare. Tyler was standing over Felix, his pants half down, but his hands hadn't yet touched the unconscious boy. Felix laid on the cold floor, unconscious and tied up, his head bleeding.

Tyler's eyes widened in shock, completely unprepared for the sudden intrusion. He fumbled to react, but it was too late.

In a flash, Chan raised his gun and fired. The shot echoed through the room, and Tyler collapsed, his body twitching slightly before going still.

Chan stood there, his face expressionless, his gun still trained on the now lifeless body. "No one touches him," he muttered coldly.

The crew rushed forward, carefully untying Felix. Changbin was the first to lift him, gently cradling Felix's unconscious form in his arms as they made their way out of the club and back to the car.

The tension was thick as they sped home, everyone silent and solemn. They had been so close to losing Felix, and the weight of that realization pressed heavily on them. No one spoke until they reached the house.

Minho was pacing the living room when the others arrived, his eyes immediately searching for Felix. When he saw him unconscious in Changbin's arms, his heart skipped a beat.

"What happened?" Minho's voice was raw, laced with anger and fear. He could barely contain the fury rising within him.

Changbin carefully set Felix down on the couch, and the others gathered around, but Minho didn't even spare them a glance. His eyes were locked on Felix, who still looked pale and fragile.

"He—he wasn't touched, Minho," Chan said quietly, his tone subdued. "We got there in time. Tyler didn't—"

"You let this happen!" Minho's voice was sharp, cutting through the tension in the room. His eyes were blazing with anger as he shot a look at the others, his fists clenching. "You let him get that close to Felix."

Chan's face darkened, guilt settling over him like a heavy cloud. "We didn't know. We didn't expect—"

"You didn't protect him!" Minho snapped. "You were supposed to watch him! He's mine to protect, not yours."

Chan's lips tightened, and he bowed his head in shame. But Minho wasn't finished. He turned to face the others, his anger directed at all of them now. "You all let this happen. You were supposed to be there, and instead, you all failed!"

The others stood in silence, their guilt hanging heavy in the room. Jeongin, feeling the weight of Minho's fury, spoke up hesitantly, his voice low. "We were too late. But we got to him before—before it could be worse."

Minho glared at him, but his eyes softened slightly when he turned back to Felix. The boy was still unconscious, his body limp and vulnerable. Minho's fists unclenched, and the anger slowly melted into something darker—something protective.

He moved toward Felix and knelt beside the couch. His hand gently cupped Felix's cheek as he whispered, "I won't let this happen again. I swear it."

The others, still watching from a distance, felt the weight of Minho's words. They knew it was true. They had let their guard down, and now, they would have to live with the consequences. But they also knew that, above all, Minho's love and loyalty to Felix was stronger than any of their mistakes. It was something they would have to earn back.

Minho's hand trembled slightly as he smoothed Felix's hair back, his anger simmering beneath the surface. He glanced up at the others, his expression hard and cold, but there was an undeniable sense of resolve.

"I'm not letting him out of my sight again," Minho said, his voice low and firm. "Not ever."

Felix slowly came to, the familiar weight of drowsiness clinging to him as his eyes fluttered open. The first thing he noticed was the soft, comforting scent of Minho, and the warmth of his body close by. His head was resting against Minho's chest, and as Felix shifted slightly, he felt a pang of fear in his stomach. The memory of the mission, of being kidnapped, of the terrifying moment in the private room flooded back.

His heart pounded, and in an instant, his anxiety spiked. He bolted upright, looking around with wide eyes, expecting to see the anger and disappointment he feared. His gaze immediately landed on the rest of the crew, who were all gathered around, their expressions soft and concerned, but the thought of their failure weighed heavily on their minds.

"I—" Felix stammered, his voice cracking with fear. "I failed. I—"

Before he could finish, Minho's arm wrapped around him, pulling him back into the safety of his chest. Minho's hand gently cupped the back of Felix's head, guiding him to rest there once more.

"No," Minho whispered softly, his voice barely above a breath, but firm and unwavering. "You didn't fail, Felix. It wasn't your fault."

The rest of the members quickly chimed in, each of them speaking up, their voices full of reassurance.

"It wasn't your fault," Chan said, his tone serious but gentle. "Tyler was unpredictable. We didn't account for how obsessed he would become with you. It wasn't your fault at all."

Seungmin nodded in agreement. "We should've been more careful, Felix. We let our guard down."

Jisung leaned forward, his face filled with concern. "We're the ones who messed up, Felix. Not you."

Felix's eyes filled with tears, and despite the words of reassurance, a deep fear lingered within him. He was still trembling, anxiety gnawing at his insides. He felt like he'd failed them all, and that they were angry with him for it. He could barely bring himself to look at them, afraid they'd be disappointed.

Minho, sensing Felix's distress, pulled him closer, holding him tightly, as if to shield him from all the fear that still gripped him. He placed a soft kiss on the top of Felix's head and whispered, "It's okay, Felix. I'm right here. You're safe."

Felix's breathing was uneven, but the warmth of Minho's embrace helped to soothe him, even as the tears began to fall. His body shook, and he buried his face into Minho's chest, unable to stop the quiet sobs.

Minho gently rocked him back and forth, his hand caressing Felix's back as he whispered soothing words. "You're not alone in this. We'll keep you safe, I swear."

Felix's tears soaked into Minho's shirt, but in the quiet moment between them, the tension in the room began to lift. Minho's voice was soft but commanding when he finally spoke again, eyes flicking over to the rest of the members.

"No more missions for Felix. He's not mafia. He's mine." Minho's words were simple, but filled with an intensity that could not be ignored. His eyes were hard, filled with possessiveness, but also a deep, unwavering affection. "He's my boyfriend. And he needs to be treated with care."

Felix's heart skipped a beat at the words. He pulled back slightly, his tear-streaked face lifting to look at Minho with wide eyes. "Boyfriend?" he whispered, his voice full of surprise and a glimmer of hope.

Minho's expression softened, and he smiled gently at Felix, brushing away a tear from Felix's cheek. "Yes. My boyfriend," he repeated, his voice soft, yet filled with certainty.

Felix's eyes widened in disbelief, and a smile broke through his tears. "Minho... you—" He couldn't finish, his words failing as a rush of emotions overwhelmed him. His heart felt like it was soaring. The weight that had been pressing on his chest since the mission started was lifting, and now all that remained was this overwhelming sense of being loved, being wanted.

The rest of the crew, witnessing the exchange, gave each other knowing looks. They had always known how close Felix and Minho were, but to hear Minho speak those words so openly and with such conviction was something else entirely.

Felix finally let out a small laugh, tears still streaming down his face, but now they were happy tears. He looked at Minho, his voice trembling, but filled with warmth. "I— I didn't think... I didn't know—"

"I love you, Felix," Minho interrupted softly, his hand resting on Felix's cheek as he leaned in and kissed his forehead. "You're mine, and I'll keep you safe from now on."

Felix's heart swelled at the words, and without another thought, he leaned in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to Minho's lips. It was gentle at first, but the emotion behind it grew with each second, as Felix let go of the fear that had been holding him back.

The crew stood in the background, giving the couple space but watching with approving smiles. They had all known this was coming, but seeing it play out so tenderly between them was something else.

Felix pulled back, his hands still gripping Minho's shirt, and whispered, "I love you, too."

The days that followed were filled with a gentle sense of peace that Felix had never imagined possible for someone like him. The days of fear and uncertainty were behind him, replaced with a sense of belonging that warmed him from the inside out. He had been thrust into a dangerous world—one of crime, power, and violence—but from that chaos, he had found something unexpected and beautiful: love, and the family he had always longed for.

Felix, now fully healed from the mission, was spending more time with Minho and the others, who had all taken turns caring for him, each of them showing their own unique brand of affection and protection. But Minho, of course, remained by his side more than anyone else, watching over him like a fierce protector, the way Felix had always dreamed of being cared for.

It had been a month since that terrifying night, and the group had fallen into a new rhythm. Their once chaotic and dangerous lives were now a blend of family dinners, shared laughter, and quiet moments of closeness that made them feel less like a mafia family and more like a group of people who had found their home in each other.

One Sunday afternoon, Felix was in the kitchen, baking a fresh batch of brownies—one of his favorite things to do. The delicious smell of chocolate filled the air, and the rest of the guys were scattered around the house, doing their own thing, but Felix could hear their voices in the distance, laughing and teasing each other. It was one of those rare moments when the house felt full, warm, and alive with love.

Minho, who had been lounging on the couch, came up behind him and wrapped his arms around Felix's waist. "You sure you don't want some help?" Minho asked, his voice playful but tender. His lips brushed the back of Felix's neck, making him shiver with warmth.

Felix turned around with a smile, gazing up at Minho. "I'm fine. I want to do this for you." Felix gestured to the nearly finished batch of brownies. "You deserve a treat."

Minho's eyes softened, and he pulled Felix into a tight hug. "You don't need to do this for me, Felix. You already gave me everything I could ever want."

Felix flushed, his heart swelling with happiness. He'd never felt so secure, so wanted, in his entire life. He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Minho's lips. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Minho smiled against his lips. "And you're mine. Always."

Felix felt like he was floating, caught in the warmth of the moment. But as he pulled back and looked around at the cozy kitchen, his thoughts drifted to the rest of the guys. They were his family now, and he had come to love each of them in a way that was uniquely different but equally as deep.

A throat being cleared in the doorway interrupted their quiet moment. It was Chan, entering with a wide grin. "Dinner's here. You guys ready to eat or what?" He glanced at Felix and Minho, and then at the fresh batch of brownies. "You made those, didn't you? They smell amazing."

Felix laughed softly. "Yeah, I did."

"Good," Changbin's voice rang out from behind Chan. "Because I'm starving."

Hyunjin, Seungmin, Jisung, and Jeongin followed, all teasing and laughing as they crowded into the kitchen. Felix couldn't help but smile at the sight of them, his family. They weren't just a mafia crew anymore; they were a bunch of people who cared deeply for one another. And for Felix, that meant everything.

Later that night, after a shared meal filled with jokes and stories, Felix found himself alone with Minho on the balcony. The night air was cool, and the city lights glittered in the distance, but it felt peaceful. Just the two of them, watching the world go by.

Minho leaned against the railing, pulling Felix close, and Felix rested his head on Minho's shoulder. There was no danger tonight. No threats, no missions to worry about. It was just them—together.

Felix took a deep breath and broke the comfortable silence. "I used to dream about having a family. I never thought it would look like this, but..." He smiled, his voice full of emotion. "I wouldn't change a thing."

Minho kissed the top of his head, his arms tightening around Felix. "You're my family now, Felix. We're in this together. All of us. No matter what happens, we'll always have each other."

Felix looked up at him, a smile spreading across his face. "I love you, Minho. And I love them, too. I never thought I'd get all of this."

Minho's eyes softened, and he pressed a gentle kiss to Felix's lips. "You deserve all of this and more, Felix. And I'll make sure you have it."

As they stood there, together in the quiet, the feeling of home settled around them. The chaos of the mafia life had brought them together, but it was love, trust, and the bond they shared that would keep them together forever.

And Felix, who had once felt so lost and alone, now knew he had found the place where he truly belonged—a family, a life, and a love that he never thought possible, but now couldn't imagine living without.
