"Not all miracles come with wings—some come with curls and wolf ears."

Leaves crunched under heavy boots as a figure stepped into the clearing at the edge of the Stray Kids' territory. Chan's ears twitched, scent sharpening as he turned toward the disturbance. Behind him, Changbin and Hyunjin stilled. The betas—Jisung, Seungmin, and Jeongin—emerged from the house with caution written across their features.

Chan growled low in his throat. "Someone's on the border."

"I smell alpha," Hyunjin said, nose twitching. "Strong one."

"I'll go ahead," Changbin offered. "Jeongin, stay with Felix."

Jeongin's head turned toward the house instinctively. "He's napping. I'll make sure he stays inside."

Chan led the charge, Changbin and Hyunjin close on his heels. They burst through the trees and found the stranger standing tall, shoulders tense, his scent a storm of grief and determination. He didn't look like a threat—just desperate.

"State your name and why you're on our land," Chan demanded, voice firm.

The alpha looked up, eyes bloodshot and jaw clenched. "Minho. I'm looking for my brother. My pack was slaughtered. When I got back, they were all gone—everyone, but he's missing. I've followed his scent to here. He's three. His name is Felix. He's my baby brother."

Chan blinked. Changbin stepped forward, his brows furrowing.

"We don't know any Felix—"

"Yes, we do," Hyunjin whispered suddenly, staring at Minho. "Felix... That name. It's not a coincidence."

"Wait here," Chan said, turning sharply on his heel and running back toward the house.

Inside, Felix had just woken up, rubbing his eyes with pudgy fists, curls sticking up on one side. He blinked sleepily up at Jeongin.

"Hi Innie..."

"Hey, bub," Jeongin cooed. "You woke up just in time. There's someone here... someone looking for you."

Felix tilted his head. "Fow me?"

Chan knelt beside him, brushing a hand over his hair. "Can you come outside, baby? Just for a sec?"

Felix nodded and reached up with both arms. "Up, daddy."

Chan scooped him up easily and carried him toward the clearing. As soon as they stepped through the trees and Felix saw the stranger, his eyes went round.

"MinMin?" he gasped, voice a tiny breath of wonder.

Minho dropped to his knees. "Lixie?"

Felix squirmed until Chan set him down, and the little omega ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. "MINMIN!"

He crashed into Minho's arms with a squeal, and Minho caught him, clutching him tightly against his chest. The alpha buried his face in Felix's neck and inhaled deeply, shaking as sobs overtook him.

"Lixie," he choked. "Lixie, oh god—your scent—I thought—I thought you were dead."

Felix hugged him just as tight. "Missed you, MinMin... I so scared. But Chan founded me. He da bestest."

The others watched, quiet and respectful. Tears welled in Hyunjin's eyes. Seungmin had his hand over his mouth.

"You... You found him?" Minho asked, still clutching Felix like he might vanish.

Chan nodded. "Six months ago. He was hurt, starving, unable to shift. We took him in. He's been our baby ever since."

Minho stood slowly, holding Felix in his arms. "I didn't know where he was. I came back and found blood. No bodies. Just blood and broken things and... and his blanket. I've been searching for months."
