"They wished for love, peace, and purpose... and the stars sent them Felix."

The rain was loud. It battered the windows like it was trying to get inside, wind howling through the trees outside the dorm. Inside, the living room lights were low, thunder rumbled deep in their chests, and none of them spoke for a long time.

Chan exhaled quietly from the couch. "It's loud tonight."

"Mm," Minho said, curled into one of the armchairs with his knees hugged to his chest. "I like it. Drowns out everything else."

Jeongin was lying on the floor with a blanket over his head like a ghost. "I don't. I feel like something's coming."

"You say that every time it rains," Jisung said, poking him with his foot.

Hyunjin was staring out the window, arms folded. "I know what he means, though. It feels heavy tonight."

"It's just weather," Seungmin muttered from the kitchen, but even he didn't sound convinced.

Chan stood up and walked to the center of the room. "Okay. New rule. No brooding in silence. If we're gonna sit here miserable, we're doing it together. Talk to me."

"About what?" Jisung asked.

Chan tilted his head and smiled faintly. "If you could wish for something tonight, what would it be?"

"A billion won," Changbin said immediately, sprawled on the floor with chips on his chest. "That's not greedy, right? Just comfortable."

Hyunjin snorted. "Comfortable would be not feeling like I have to be someone else all the time."

The room quieted again.

"Peace, then?" Chan said gently.

Hyunjin nodded, still watching the storm.

"I'd wish for a dog," Jeongin whispered.

"You are a dog," Minho muttered.

"Minho," Chan said.

Minho shrugged. "Fine. I don't know. Maybe I'd wish... to feel something again."

Jisung frowned, sitting up straighter. "Like what?"

Minho's voice dropped. "Joy. Love. Something that isn't just obligation."

Seungmin sat down beside him quietly. "I'd wish to stop being so angry all the time."

Jisung rubbed the back of his neck. "I'd wish for something to believe in. Like... something that reminds me why we even started this."

Everyone turned to Chan.

He hesitated. Then quietly, "I'd wish for someone to take care of. Someone small. Someone who needs us. Who reminds us we're still human."

No one laughed. No one teased. It was quiet again—quiet in that way that meant they were all hurting the same way.

The storm raged on.

Morning came with golden sunlight, like the sky hadn't split in half the night before. It poured through the windows, warm and soft, and the dorm was still half-asleep when a knock rattled the front door.

Minho groaned from the hallway. "Who the hell is knocking this early—Hyunjin, answer it."

"You answer it!"

"I answered it last time!"

"Fine!" Chan's voice cut through the bickering. "I've got it."

He yawned, rubbing at his face as he walked barefoot to the front door. He opened it—and froze.
