23- Who's Jade?

NIALL’S POV

“Hey guys, I think I have a different idea for tonight.” I told the boys. We were all sitting backstage in our dressing room, while the girls were sitting in the lounge room. “I think I want to wait until tomorrow to do Skylar’s surprise.”

“Why Nialler? How come not tonight with the rest of us?” Louis asked, confused. Tomorrow was St. Patrick’s Day, so I thought it would be better since we’re both Irish, I explained to the band. “That’s a great idea!” Louis chirped, then patted my back.

“How are you going to do it?” Zayn asked me. Hmm… I Haven’t thought that far yet.

“I’m not sure yet…” I looked down, thinking. “I’ll figure it out later, we have to get to wardrobe.” We all got up and walked over to our stylist.

SKYLAR’S POV

Layla reached for the remote and turned on the TV. “What do you guys want to watch?” She asked, flipping through the channels.

“Ooh! HGTV!” I yelled with excitement. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. “What?”

“How about some MTV, instead?” Blakely said back, and I nodded with agreement. Layla turned to the MTV channel.

“I wonder what the surprise is going to be.” Amelia grudged. I looked up at her, then shrugged my shoulders. I hope its something special… maybe they’re all going to ask us out. My thoughts were interrupted by Layla.

“Maybe its just that they’re going to stay in New Jersey for longer!” Layla said, confident.

“Oh! That’d be awesome!” Blakely responded. I was going to say something but then my phone vibrated. I had gotten a text from Jade.

“Hey Skylar, how are you?” Wow I haven’t talked to her in forever.

“Hey, pretty good… how about you?”

“Pretty good, can I ask you something :O”

“Uhh, yeah sure…”

“Are you dating Niall from 1D??” I had a feeling she was going to ask about that.

“Not exactly… I think he likes me, but he hasn’t asked me out yet..”

“Oh, do you think he’s gonna any time soon?”

“Actually, I think he’s gonna do it on stage tonight.”

“YOU’RE AT THE CONCERT?! I’M IN THE THIRD ROW!”

“WHATTT?!”

“Yeah! I’ll record everything that happens!”

“Thanks! Oh, but I gotta go now, they’re about to go on. Enjoy the show!”

Just then, I heard that famous Irish accent calling my name. “Babe? Come on, you got to go to hair and makeup.” He grabbed my hand, lifting me up from the couch. We walked into the room and the rest of the girls were already sitting in the chairs with people working on their hair and makeup. The band members were sitting on the couch, tweeting about tonight.

“Hey Skye, what took you so long?” Liam asked me. 

“Sorry, one of my friends texted me.” I looked up, smiling a bit.

“Was it Jade?” Amelia asked me, I nodded. Louis sat up a bit after mentioning her name.

“Who’s Jade?” Louis asked, then Amelia explained the long friendship we’ve all had.

“She’s actually here tonight, third row.” I told the group.

“You know who else is here tonight?” Harry asked the group, grinning. He looked around, only the band knew what he was talking about.

“Well? who’s here?” Blakely asked, harshly and waiting for an answer. But she didn’t need an answer when he walked through the door.
