SKYLAR’S POV

Layla pulled out her phone and began reading off of a list. “First of all, you guys are both Irish.” As she said that, I clenched my brand new shamrock necklace. “You guys are both blonde, but not naturally.” Then, Niall ran his fingers through his hair. “You’ve both got blue eyes.”

“Niall’s are bluer than mine though,” I paused, looking into his eyes, “mine are more like a rainy day.” I mentioned, but Layla just continued.

“You guys are both left handed!” She blurted out, then continued reading, “You both play guitar right handed, though.” Niall looked at me and smiled.

“We should play something together one day.” He told me, and I explained how I wasn’t that good.

“You guys both eat, a lot.” Amelia mentioned, causing the group to laugh. “And on that note, you both laugh a lot as well.”

“Niall, you’ve got a messed up left knee right?” Layla asked him, and he nodded. “So does Skylar.”

“Whoa, you guys are like long lost twins.” Louis chirped, this is only the beginning of her list.

“Skylar’s favorite color is green,” Blakely told the group, “Niall, isn’t yours green too?” She asked him, and he responded with a yes.

“What else do they have in common?” Harry asked the girls and I.

“Well, when I see other people cry, it makes me want to cry.” I told them.

“No way! Me too!” Niall added.

“See? Exactly alike.” Layla said, “and Skylar’s pretty ticklish.” she paused, waiting for someone to tickle me but luckily, no one did.

“So is Niall,” Louis said, but he actually tickled him. Niall let out a yelp , which made everyone laugh. Gosh, I love his laugh.

“Do you like horror movies?” I asked him, and he nodded. One more thing we have in common.

“Skye, when did you start dying your hair blonde?” Liam asked me.

“Umm, I think when I was about 13.” I told him, and he just nodded.

“I started when I was 14.” Niall responded. Weird. “Alright, now that we know Skylar and I are perfect for each other,” he paused, hugging me, “when do the girls have to go back to school?” Ugh, I forgot about school.

“Tomorrow is Monday, right?” Blakely asked, and everyone nodded. “Well, then we have school tomorrow.” She sighed. I sighed as I leaned into Niall’s chest.

“Wait! Don’t we have our fencing dinner on Friday?” Amelia chirped.

“We do! I forgot about that!” Layla responded. The boys looked confused, so Layla explained. “Every year at the end of our fencing season, we have a banquet dinner. The coaches and the seniors get gifts from the team, we show a slideshow of some funny pictures as well.”

“Are we invited?” Harry asked, hopeful.

“If you give us $20 each.” Blakely said, not joking as the boys’ faces stiffened.

“Looks like we’re going to a fencing dinner!” Niall cheered, waving his hands in the air. The group then cheered and we all laughed.

“Just text us the details later on.” Louis said to Layla.

“Will do babe.” Layla responded, smiling at Lou. As she finished my phone went off, awkward. My ringtone was a parody I made of their cover of “One Way Or Another.”

“What’s that Skye?” Zayn asked me.
