25- Singing With Sheeran

The boys walked in, and immediately changed into their next outfit batch. “Hey guys! How’d everything go?” I asked the boys, still changing.

“Everything was perfect, except you guys weren’t on stage.” Louis yelled back. I blushed, then looked over at the other girls. They were blushing too, then we all let out a laugh.

“Well, now you guys are!” Zayn yelled out. My laughing stopped. What? “Skylar, Ed wants you to go on with him now, actually!” Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, OH MY GOSH WHAT?! 

“What do you mean?” I asked, even though I already knew the answer. Layla yelled.

“Ed wants you to go on stage with him! GO!” Layla yelled at me, jumping out of her seat. “Come on!” She grabbed my arm and walked me out to the room by the stage.

“Skylar?” Paul asked me.

“Uh, y-yeah?” I managed to get out. 

“Ed would like to see you on stage,” He smiled, trying to get me to open up a little.

“U-uh, oka-okay.” I stuttered, then Paul opened the curtain to let me onto the stage. This is so nerve wrecking, what am I doing on stage? With Ed Sheeran?! I walked out and suddenly I could barely hear. There were screams and clapping going on all around me. I walked up to Ed and he hugged me.

“So guys, this is Skylar,” he paused, letting the crowd cheer, “and she is an amazing writer.” More cheers and claps went about. I guess I was blushing because Ed brought me into another hug and told me not to be so scared and to loosen up. “So, Skylar? Would you mind if I sang one of these songs?”

“N-no, go right ah-ahead.” I stuttered, looking around the crowd, then I saw a familiar face in the crowd. 

“Would you like to sing it with me?” he asked me, I looked back into the crowd at Jade, she smiled and nodded.

“I’d be honored to!” I told him. He smiled at me and a returned it. “You start though.” Then, Ed picked up his guitar and the crowd went silent. Wow. He began to sing my song.

He turned to me and nodded, I began to sing.

The song ended, and the cheering began again. I couldn’t help but smile, and I’m pretty sure I was blushing too. That was an amazing experience. Ed hugged me, thanked the crowd, and we walked off stage. A video of One Direction began to play while they set up the next set of songs.

“Ahh! Skylar that was amazing!” The girls all yelled and ran over to hug me, I was almost toppled over. I thanked them and we all laughed. Then Niall came over to me and hugged me.

“Babe? You wrote that?” He asked me, looking down into my eyes.

“I-I did.. A while ago, actually.” I told him, then smiled, causing him to do the same.

“I loved it, maybe we can record it on our next album.” he told me, my eyes lit up with joy.

“Or maybe she can record it as a single.” Liam stated, then Amelia yelled out.

“But she’s got a bunch of songs!” She looked at me and I blushed. Not again.
