28- Hi Skylar.

SKYLAR’S POV

I awoke to the sound of Hazel and Cyrus crying. I got up and picked up my brother while my mom got my sister. “So how was last night?” My mom asked me, “I didn’t get a chance to ask you last night.”

“It was alright.” I looked down at my brother, making funny faces to get him to quiet. “A lot happened, that’s for sure.”

“What do you mean, honey?” She asked me, and I’m not sure I really wanted to tell her.

“Well, the boys had three surprises for us.” I paused, and put my brother down as he stopped crying; my mother did the same. We went into my room and sat on the bed to continue the conversation. “The first surprise was that Ed Sheeran was visiting and he was to perform a few songs.”

“Well that sure is a pleasant surprise!” My mom said, smiling at me.

“Then, while the boys were on stage performing, the girls and I were talking to Ed and somehow in the conversation Ed found out that I’ve written some songs. He took my phone and brought it on stage with him and sang one of my songs.”

“Wow Skye! That’s amazing!”

“He even brought me up on stage to sing with him! Jade has it all on her phone, too.” I paused, “Then the next surprise was that we were all brought up on stage, except Ed. He stayed back and was working on some stuff with my songs. After we were all brought up on stage, Harry asked out Amelia; Zayn asked out Blakely; Louis asked out Layla.” I looked down after finishing.

“What about you honey, Niall didn’t ask you out?” I shook my head and she gave me a hug. “I’m sure he’s going to, maybe he just has a different plan for you.” I looked up at my mom and she smiled.

“Wait, I’m not even done. So after they were done with that, each girl got serenaded with her favorite song.” I paused, again, “except me.” My mom weakly smiled this time. “Then when that ended, we were escorted off stage so the boys could finish the show. We got back to the dressing room and Ed was there still. We all talked and then he kissed me.” My mom’s eyes lit up. “Yeah, Ed Sheeran kissed me; on the cheek though.” 

“Wow, seems like you had a long night.” I nodded and we laughed. “Aright, well are you going out with the girls again today to the parade?” I forgot about the parade. Oh yeah! It’s St. Patrick’s Day!

“Uh, yeah I think so,” I checked my phone and saw a bunch of texts from the group, 

“be ready in 30” the text said. “Yeah, Blakely is coming for me in a half hour.”

“Alright, I’ll let you get ready, Happy St. Patrick’s Day Skye!” I returned the greeting and shut the door so I could get dressed.

After getting ready, I heard the car honk. I kissed my family goodbye and walked out the front door. When I looked up, I saw Blakely and the girls waving at me from the car. I ran up my driveway and got in. “Hey guys!”

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day Skylar!” Layla yelled ,shaking my seat. I laughed and returned the greeting.

“You ready for today?” Amelia asked me, smiling brightly.

“For the parade? Yeah, I guess.” I told her, but the rest of the girls had a different idea in mind. “Why? What else is going on today?” I asked, hoping for an answer.

“You’ll see!” Amelia told me, giggling. What are these girls up to? 

“Have you checked your phone today Skye?” Blakely asked me. I had not, so I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I saw a text from Niall, and one from Blakely telling me to be ready.

“I’ve only got two, one from you and one from Niall.” I told her.

“Read Niall’s.” She said, bluntly, so I did.

“hey babe, hppy st patricks day! c u later” I smiled as I read it, he’s so cute. 

We pulled up to the parade location and all got out of the car. “Where do you guys want to sit?” I asked the group.

“Oh, we’ve already got spots picked out.” Amelia told me, then grabbed my hand as we walked behind the building. 

“Where are we going Mel?” I asked, but got no answer. 

“Close your eyes Skye.” Layla told me.

“But ho--” I tried to ask.

“Just do it.” Blakely said this time. I did as I was told and closed my eyes. I had no idea where I was going, but when we finally got there I heard some familiar voices.

“Open your eyes, babe.” Niall told me to do, and when I did, I ran to him, hugging him. “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” He smiled, then hugged me back. After doing that, I looked around the room. The band was all there, the girls, and in the corner was Ed.
