30- American Nando's

I looked up into his eyes, “Of course Nialler!” I yelled so he could hear me. He smiled at me and jumped down off the parade float. He ran over to me and hugged me, while I buried my face in his chest. “I love you Nialler.”

“I love you even more Skylar.” He told me, then we broke apart from the hug. I turned around to look at my friends who were all silently screaming. They pointed behind me and when I turned around, Niall was yelling to Louis for something.

“What’s wrong Niall?” I asked him, and it caught him off guard. But he turned right back around and caught something. He looked at me and handed me a small, wrapped present. It was in green for St. Patrick’s Day. I opened it and it was a small, shamrock necklace. “I love it!” I told him, then he pulled me into a hug.

“Look, it’s just like mine,” he told me, then pulled his necklace out from under his green shirt. “Now we can match!” he chuckled, then smiled at me.

“Ugh, you guys are so cute!” Blakely said, causing us to laugh.

“What I’m not cute?” Zayn asked, hugging her from behind. She turned around and gave him a kiss and hug. Louis and Harry did the same to their girls. I turned around to the group, and saw Jade approach.

“Hey Jade! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” I yelled, hugging her.

“Hey Skye! That was so cool!” she told me, chuckling. The boys stepped to the side as the rest of the girls hugged Jade. Jade noticed and introduced herself to the band. “Hi, I’m Jade.” 

“I’m Niall,” Niall told her, and then hugged her. The rest of the boys introduced themselves, and we all started talking.

“So you’re the famous Jade?” Louis asked, causing Jade to blush.

“F-famous?” She asked, confused. Amelia told her that we’ve mentioned her a few times. “Oh,” she chuckled nervously, “Yeah I guess. I’m just an old friend of Skylar.” She looked at me, smiling. “I’ll see you soon Skye!” I hugged and waved goodbye as she got into her mother’s car.

“So how about some lunch?” Harry asked the group.

“We could go to McDonald’s?” Layla asked, turning around and pointing to the restaurant. 

“What’s a ‘McDonald’s’?” Liam asked, curious. The girls and I just stared in amazement at their unawareness. “McDonald’s is like an American Nando’s,” she paused, “kind of.”

“I’m up for it!” Niall chirped, causing me to chuckle. 

“Alright, to McDonald’s it is!” Zayn cheered. We all laughed and began walking, completely forgetting who we were with. The boys were all stopped about 30 times by fans for pictures and autographs. “Just meet us inside girls!” Zayn yelled, after taking a picture with a fan.

Blakely yelled back, “Okay!” as we walked inside McDonald’s. “What’s everyone getting?” I had already ordered because I used to there all the time, but the other girls just scanned the menu and ordered. Layla and I were up getting our food as the boys walked in. 

“Hey guys!” Layla said, hugging Louis. Niall walked over to me at the counter and hugged me as well.

“What do you recommend Skye?” He asked me, and I told him what I got. Louis overheard my order and began to chuckle. Niall noticed and asked him why he was laughing.

“Oh nothing, just that she eats just as much as you do.” He managed to say, recovering from laughing. 

“It’s true! She eats everything in my house when we have sleepovers!” Layla said, causing me to blush and smile. Niall looked down at me and asked if it was true, and I nodded. “That’s just one other thing you two have in common!” She chirped.

“Oh yeah, we never finished saying all of that,” I added, “We’ll talk about it over lunch.” The boys ordered their food as Layla and I grabbed our orders. Then, we all sat down in the corner of the restaurant and began to eat our food. Just as I picked up my Big Mac, I heard a loud scream come from outside.
