The party ended up being not as bad as Taylor had thought. Toni kept her distance, mainly engaging in conversation with only Martha and most of the time, they were up dancing anyway. Taylor didn't really feel like dancing, so Selena kept her company at the table, along with Ella.
"How are you doing Taylor? You good?" Ella asked.
"I'm fine. I'm getting a little tired and will probably take off soon. Are you having a good time?"
"Yeah. Jamie is quite the host. Everything was very well thought out and her parents look to be having a splendid time."
"She definitely out does herself when it comes to hosting a party." Taylor replied.
Taylor pulled her phone out to check the time, noticing a new text message. She was slightly disappointed to see that it wasn't from Karlie but seeing it was from Lily, still put a smile on her face. As she read it, a worried look came over her.
"Tay, are you alright?" Selena asked.
"Yeah, I have to make a phone call."
Taylor went in the lobby to call Lily. Realizing that her text was from two hours ago, she knows its now 4:30am in London and is almost positive Lily won't answer but she needs to call her anyway. She needs to be sure Karlie is alright. She called her friend but received no response. She tried several more times but still nothing. She began to walk back into the main room but before she did, she wanted to try just one more time. This time, after five rings, a tired voice answered the phone.
"Lily?"
"Hi Taylor."
"Lily, I know it's really early in the morning for you and I'm really sorry. It's just that I just saw your text and I was really worried and I..."
"Tay, calm down. Give me a second. Let me just splash some water on my face to wake up. Hold on."
After a couple of minutes, Lily returned to the phone.
"Ok, I'm back."
"Lily, what's going on? Why is Karlie in your room and why is she drunk again and why did she leave me a panicked voicemail?"
"Ok, Taylor. One question at a time. First off, you know I'm very protective of Karlie especially when she drinks but tonight, it was my idea and she really needed it. I don't really want to go into too much detail because this really is between you and her and she should be the one talking to you. But she told me that she tried calling you earlier and didn't get ahold of you. When she told me the message she left you, I immediately thought that you might read into it the wrong way, which is really the reason why I texted you."
"Understand that this has nothing to do with Tori. Last night we all got a little too drunk and everyone passed out. Karlie talked about you all night long. As much as I love you Tay, even I got a little nauseated."
Taylor began to laugh, knowing it takes a lot to get Lily to that point, so she knew that Karlie really did take it to the next level. "Awww, my baby. I miss her so much Lil."
"I know you do Taylor and she misses you just as much, if not more. I know I don't have to tell you this but, she really loves you. I mean, REALLY LOVES YOU. She's so insanely in love with you, it's like unreal. Anyway, I basically got her drunk tonight and now she's sleeping like a baby in my bed. Wait, that didn't sound right. She's in my bed, but I'm on the couch."
"Lily, you didn't need to explain that. I trust you and I trust her too. I'm not the same insecure person I was a few months ago, I have gotten better."
"Well, good. I'm glad to hear that. Infact, I noticed a change in you when we were all in St. Louis. I'm glad that the therapy sessions you told me about have been working. Anyway, call her in the morning. We don't have to be on location until noon and we were planning on going for breakfast around 9, so she'll be up by 7:30/8:00. I know that may be a little late for you bu-..."
