It's the afternoon of the day Karlie is supposed to leave for Europe. Her puzzle piece picture frame set came in and she wrapped it in white paper. Across it she wrote, 'I'm trying to PIECE us back together.'

She brought it to the apartment and placed it in front of the door before heading to the airport.

Soon she arrived and boarded the plane, where she met Lily. Since Behati was back in NY, she would be meeting them in Europe.

Lily smiled at her friend as Karlie took her seat.

"Hi." Karlie said as she pulled out her earbuds and iPod.

"Hey Kar. How have... I mean...it's good to see you."

"No need to act weird around me Lily. You can ask me how I am. My response is that I'm shitty. My life is a fucking disaster and I can't gain my wife's trust. I'm just waiting patiently for her to serve me with divorce papers."

Under normal circumstances, Lily would tell Karlie to not talk foolishly, but not today. At this point, anything was a possibility. Taylor could very well leave her for good.

Lily grabbed her earbuds and put them in her ears but not before grabbing Karlie's hand and saying, "If you need to talk, I'm right here."

Karlie smiled in return as she turned her head to look out of the window and listened to her music.

It was going to be a long flight. Since they were flying a commercial flight and not the VS plane, they did not have a direct flight. Therefore, they had a five hour layover in NY.

When they arrived in NY, the girls went to Karlie and Taylor's apartment, instead of waiting at the airport. As Lily sat on the couch in the living room, Karlie went upstairs and laid on Taylor's side of the bed and hugged her pillow. She could smell her wife's scent and began to cry. She was at a complete loss as to what to do. She didn't call Andrea or her mother because she didn't even know what to say. They wouldn't understand the impact because no one knew about the hurt Taylor suffered in the past.

Karlie grabbed one of Taylor's photo albums and began going through it page by page. She wiped the tears from her eyes and laughed at the crazy pictures they took together. Whether it was during the holiday's, birthdays, vacations or just hanging out with their family and friends.

She got to pages filled with pictures of their friends, with everyone laughing and having a great time during summer barbecues. There were pictures of Selena, Emma and Abigail. Looking at Emma and Abigail made her physically ill. She couldn't believe that Abigail was the mastermind behind trying to break up her marriage.

She decided there was only one thing she could do. She was calling them both. She went into Taylor's office and grabbed the rolodex. She located both phone numbers and called Emma first.

"Hi, Emma? It's Karlie, do you have a second to talk?"

"Yeah, sure Kar, what's going on?"

"Actually, hold on one second."

Karlie placed Emma on hold and then called Abigail.

"Hello?"

"Hi Abigail? It's Karlie."

"Oh. What do you want?"

"Actually, this will be quick, hold on one second."

Karlie linked both calls together.

"Emma?"

"Yeah."

"Abigail?"

"Yeah."

"Great, we're all on together."

"Ummm, what's going on Karlie?" Emma asked with fear in her voice.

"I just wanted to congratulate both of you. Your mission was to ruin my marriage and I wanted you to hear it from my mouth directly that you succeeded."

"My wife wants nothing to do with me because I told her that you two were trying to break us up. She was so hurt that her best friend from childhood could do something like that to her and didn't want to believe it, neither did I. She told me that she was going to Nashville to confront Abigail, and I got angry because I didn't want her to go alone because I love her and I wanted to protect her. We're having a baby and she didn't need this stress. But she wanted to go by herself and was so persistent even though I disagreed."

"I was so angry that I said some inexcusable, horrible things to the only woman who I have ever truly loved."

By this time, Karlie was fighting to hold back the tears.

"We invited you into our home. You guys were like family to us. We trusted both of you."

"There's nothing else for me to say to either of you. I can't speak on Taylor's behalf, but I'll speak on my own. I want absolutely nothing to do with either of you EVER AGAIN. You're both dead to me. Do not call me, do not approach me if we're ever at a party. Infact, if you ever see me choking, don't help me. I rather die than be saved by either one of you poor excuses of human beings."

"I hope you both find someone someday that gives you everything you could have ever asked for and makes you so incredibly happy, that it makes you wonder how you ever managed to live before you met them."

"And then I hope someone or something happens that takes it all away and leaves a void so big that you can't ever imagine it ever being filled again. I don't hate either of you. I DESPISE the two of you so much it hurts my soul. I'm done now. Goodbye."

An hour later, Karlie went downstairs and asked Lily if she wanted anything to drink.

"Sure, I'll have a water."

Karlie handed Lily a bottle of water, while she poured herself a shot of vodka.

"Kar, you ok? You don't normally drink by yourself."

"Well, I'm celebrating in my head right now."

"What?"

"I just got rid of dead weight in my life."

"Umm, Karlie, will you please tell me what you're talking about?

"Emma and Abigail. I conferenced call them, just now, upstairs. It was great. I told them what I thought of them."

Karlie poured herself another shot.

"I think the only thing I didn't say was that I wished them death. Maybe I should call them back." The model said as she began to laugh.

Lily just stared at her friend, not knowing what reaction she should really have at the moment.

"Well, do you feel better?"

"I feel fucking fantastic....just fucking fantastic." Karlie said as she began to cry, holding her head in her hands.

"I'm so angry Lily. I hate them so fucking much but no matter what I said to them, still doesn't get me my wife back. How do I earn her trust again? She won't even look at me. How much time away from me does she need? Enough to forget about me? I'm going slowly insane and I don't know what to do. She doesn't want my gifts. She doesn't want to hear my voicemails. She doesn't respond to my texts. She wants NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. I've tried everything. I don't know what else she wants from me."

Karlie was hysterically crying while talking to her friend. Lily saw the hurt and pain in Karlie's eyes and she knew she meant every word when she said she was sorry. Lily wiped away her own tears as she moved over and wrapped her arm around Karlie's shoulders and pulled her friend towards her.

"What am I gonna do Lily?"

"I don't know Karlie. But we'll figure it out together."
