"Kar, you ok? You look like you just woke up. Did you sleep last night?"

"Hardly Lil. I couldn't fall asleep and then as soon as I finally did, it was time to wake up and I hit snooze like three times and that's why I look like this."

"Well, come on." Lily said. "Let's go get fitted and you can tell me all about Taylor's reaction."

"Ummm...yeah....well.."

"You did tell her, didn't you Karlie?"

"Not exactly."

"Oh Jesus." Lily replied.

"Well, I was going to but I only spoke to her briefly and then I never called her back like I said I would because I was getting sleepy but then I couldn't fall asleep and I knew if I called her I'd wake her up, so I'll tell her today."

"When does she come home?"

"Today." Karlie said in a whisper.

"Oh God Karlie, you're too much. Come on, let's get ready."

As the two were getting fitted, Karlie received a text message from Scott.

Karlie, I just left the house. I'm heading back to Nashville. I'll talk to you soon.

"Taylor?" Lily said.

"No, it was ..."

"HEY TAY!!" Lily shouted as Taylor just walked in the door.

"LILY!!" Taylor replied as she ran over and hugged her friend.

"Ummm, hi baby." Karlie said as she watched her wife bypass her and head straight to her friend.

"HA HA." Lily said sarcastically.

Taylor went back to her wife and wrapped her arms around her neck. "Hi babe. SURPRISE!" Taylor said as her wife leaned in for a kiss.

"What are you doing here, Tay?"

"Are you not happy to see me?"

"Of course I am Taylor. I'm always happy to see you. It's just that, it's only 9am. I wasn't expecting you until this afternoon."

"Well, you never called me back last night, which by the way, WHY? I got worried, so I flew back early. And why do you look like you haven't slept?"

"I'm sorry about that. I was gonna call you back but I was so tired that I started to fall asleep but then I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. It was so late that I didn't want to wake you."

"Awwww, baby...you should have called me. I would have sang to you."

"Seriously?" The woman who was putting the final touches on Karlie's outfit said, offering a chuckle from the model.

"Yes Karen, Taylor sings to me." Karlie said as she continued to laugh.

"I think that's cute. I wish my husband sang to me." Karen replied.

"Did you have a nightmare Kar?" Taylor asked, ignoring Karen at this point.

"No. I just couldn't sleep. I think I was soooo tired that my body just couldn't relax itself enough."

"Well, I know how to fix that." Taylor said in a whisper.

"OUCH KAREN, you stuck me with a pin."

"Sssss....sorry Karlie. I was distracted." Karen replied as her face turned bright red.

"Babe, go grab something to eat and then come back and have a seat and talk to me." Karlie said as she kissed her wife again before she walked away.
