"KARLIE, GET THIS FUCKING DOG!"

"Jesus Taylor, watch your mouth already. You know how smart Mikayla is. That's all we need is for her to think her dogs name is 'fucking dog'. What did Zeus do anyway?

Taylor was standing on a step stool, decorating for the baby's birthday party that would be happening later that day. She sat on the counter as a look of frustration and despair came over her face.

"He keeps biting the streamers as I'm hanging them. Then they get all wet with his saliva and they break. I'm so over this dog already. He doesn't listen and is a royal pain in the ass."

Karlie began to chuckle as she got closer to her wife and wrapped her arms around Taylor's waist. "Kiss me."

"Kar, I have to finish. There's still so much to do and we still have to pick up the food and the cake. Not to mention Mikayla's dress still needs to be ironed and we have to pick out our clothes and....mmmm."

Karlie leaned in for a kiss mid sentence as Taylor wrapped her arms around her neck. The model pulled away slowly as she looked into her wife's bright blue eyes. "She's going to have an amazing birthday party. We'll send Jim to get the cake and food. Lily and my sisters are on their way to help with decorating. Austin and Kimby will take the dogs for a long walk. My mom can iron Mikayla's dress and get her ready and you and I will take a long, hot shower." Karlie leaned close to Taylor's ear, planting a little kiss on her earlobe as she whispered, "I'll even relieve your stress if you want me to."

Taylor gave her wife a wide smile as she kissed her again. "I just want everything to be perfect for her first birthday."

"I know you do baby, and it will be perfect. But I don't want you to get all stressed out, ok?"

Taylor nodded her head as she pulled Karlie in for a hug. "I love you Kar."

"I know you do. I love you too. Come on, I'll help you hang the rest of the streamers until they get here."

Four hours later and Miss Mikayla was being brought downstairs by her mother's as a crowd of family and friends shouted 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'. Being startled at first, the little one nuzzled her head in Taylor's neck but was soon all smiles as she saw her friend Dixie. Taylor placed her on the floor as Dixie grabbed her hand and led her to the living room where they sat on the floor and played with Mikayla's toys.

"They are adorable." Lily said to Taylor and Karlie as she watched the two little girls interact with each other.

Austin soon joined the girls for a game of hide and seek. Dixie counted to ten as he hid behind the couch. He heard Dixie giggle as the two snuck up behind him. When she yelled 'found you', he turned around quick and began to chase them on his hands and knees causing Mikayla to scream with laughter as she ran towards her mother's, stopping herself by holding on to Karlie's leg and looking behind to see where Austin was.

"What's your uncle Austin doing? Is he gonna get you."

As Austin got closer, the little one looked up at Karlie and said, 'Up mama up', as her legs did a little dance with excitement. Karlie picked her up as she laughed when her uncle got close to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He extended his arms, wanting her to come but she turned away.

"Ok, come on Dixie, Mikayla doesn't want to see the puppies."

As soon as she heard puppies, Mikayla turned back to look at him as she stretched out her arms, leaning her body as far as she could as she said 'Up'.

Austin laughed as he grabbed his niece and went into the next room.

Karlie walked over to Cara and Behati who seemed to be in deep conversation.
