It's so peaceful over here and everything is so beautiful. The sky is so blue, reminds me of Taylor's eyes. God how I miss those eyes. Up on this hill, as I look down below, all I can see are fields, for as far as my eyes take me, just fields. It's simply amazing. The grass is tall and moving in one direction as if being in the path of wind, yet I don't feel any breeze. There are a lot of colorful trees and bushes all around. Orange, red, purple, yellow. It's all so vibrant and rich. Below there's a river that snakes through this valley. I can vaguely see a trail alongside of it and what appears to be someone jogging. On the other side of the river, up on the hill, there's a tree that has a swing hanging from one of the limbs and what appears to be a person swinging on it.
I'm not sure where to go. I kinda want to go up to the swing but another part of me wants to follow the person on the trail and try and get answers. Well, this is weird. As soon as I started walking, it was as if I had no control of deciding where to go. I feel like I'm being drawn automatically to the tree on the hill with the swing. The closer I get, I can hear giggling. I can see a little girl sitting on the swing, just swinging away.  She's wearing this light blue dress with little yellow flowers all over it. She has the most beautiful curly blonde hair that falls to the center of her back and is being held back, out of her eyes, by a thin blue headband. Her smile was infectious and as I got closer her eyes....her eyes were like pools of the bluest water you could find.
"Hi, I'm Karlie. What's your name?"
She didn't respond. She just smiled and continued to swing.
"You look so familiar, but I know we never met before. Are you by yourself? You seem to be too young to be alone. Hmmm, so I take it that giggling is your thing. Will you show me where to go?"
I can see the swing begin to slow down. Right before it came to a complete stop, the little girl jumped off and began to laugh as she landed on her feet briefly and then dropped to her butt really quick before getting back up. As she got closer to me, she flashed her bright smile as she grabbed my hand and led me down the hill. She's so warm and inviting. I can't help but stare at her. She looks so much like..."
                              ------------
"Karlie, please wake up. Lily and Cara are on their way to see you and your mom should be landing in an hour. I miss you baby and so does Mikayla. She calls for you all the time. You'll be so proud of her, she's mastering potty training. We haven't quite gotten a handle on the pooping part, but she definitely has no issue peeing. She's so funny Kar. You need to wake up and see her. She needs you....I need you."
"Hey Tay, how's she doing?" Lily asked as she and Cara walked in.
"She's still the same except that her eyes have started to flutter. They haven't opened, but you can see her eyeballs moving under her eyelids. Sometimes she'll twitch, like a finger might move slightly, but that's about it. The doctor said that's all normal activity." Tears started to fall from Taylor's eyes as she said, "I just want her to sit up and say, 'I'm ok.' But it's not happening."
Lily bent down and hugged Taylor as she too began to cry.
"Everyone stop crying." Cara said as she grabbed Karlie's hand. "Kar, listen to me. I'm getting married in like six months and you have no fucking choice but to be there. I'm counting on you Kar. You need to wake up. This laying here bullshit is completely unacceptable. Shouldn't you be jogging somewhere or working out at a gym or something? Come on dude, just wake up."  Cara didn't realize that as she spoke, tears began to fall from her eyes. Lily came over and wrapped her arms around her as the two continued to just stare at her.
                              ----------
Where are we going? Hmm, you're not gonna talk to me, are you? Ok, that's fine. I'll just follow you wherever you go. Hey, there's that jogger again. He seems to be slowing down. I wonder where that tunnel leads to that he seems to be standing in front of.
