"Hello, Behati? Have you talked to Karlie?"

"No I haven't, is everything alright Lily?"

"No, far from it. Taylor kicked her out. She's not the same Behati. Something changed."

"Well, geez Lil, her wife went crazy on her and threatened to leave her. I'm sure something DID change."

"No, you don't understand. I get that she's upset and hurt, but something is different. Taylor snapped. Something inside her just...I don't know how to explain it....it came undone. She's hurt...angry...disappointed....but it's just different. She's calm. She's not raising her voice...she's just.....oh my God, I don't know. She's just relaxed!"

"How can you be relaxed at a time like this?"

"EXACTLY BEHATI. You can't. This is so fucked up. I'm gonna try Karlie again."

"Lily, if she doesn't answer, don't worry about it. You come to Karlie's rescue all the time. Maybe she needs to suffer a little bit. Maybe it'll give her a chance to reflect on the fucked up things she said."

"Geez, Behati, what's with you?"

"Nothing, I'm just tired of this and them. I'm tired of treating someone you 'love' like shit but then thinking an I'm sorry, is gonna just fix it. Like, NO, an 'I'm sorry' doesn't just fix things."

"People have fucking feelings. People always comment on how much Karlie always does for Taylor. 'Oh, Karlie designed an amazing wedding. Karlie took her on an incredible trip. Karlie had a phenomenal house built for her, Karlie took her to Greece on her honeymoon because she's never been. Karlie Karlie Karlie."

"Well, what about Taylor? She gave up her CAREER for Karlie. But no one talks about that. She injected herself with hormones and made her body go on a complete emotional rollercoaster because she's carrying the baby that Karlie will never be able to carry herself. Let's not forget when Karlie left her because her ex came to 'apologize' and Taylor being as kind as she is, let Dianna in her hotel room. She was then forcibly kissed, it was secretly recorded and posted online. Karlie practically made her beg and grovel, to prove to her that nothing happened."

"And how about all the convincing being done, to get Taylor to talk to a therapist because she's insecure. AND SHE DOES IT!!! She talked to that therapist because it's what Karlie wanted because SHE LOVES HER, but we don't talk about those things."

"God forbid we talk about Karlie's wrong doings. How about every time she drinks, she can't keep her fucking hands to herself or her tongue in her mouth. How many times has she practically taken someone back to her hotel, and the only thing that stopped her was you being there. You'd come to her rescue."

"Taylor doesn't know half the shit Karlie does. What about the other night at the studio. If Taylor woke up between someone's legs, she'd tell Karlie because that's just who she is. She would want to maintain a level of honesty. But I'm 99.9% sure that Karlie would have crucified her to a cross for it. We both know Karlie has said nothing to her about it because why? Because she has a couple of friends who actually like her wife so much that we don't want to hurt her and would never repeat what we saw."

"I'm so tired of it, pretending that she does no fucking wrong. There was Paige, who had her hand down Karlie's pants. And let's not forget Gwen, who Karlie 'got lost' with on a trail and failed to inject her wife with hormones. Oh, and how about Kayla? The part time nurses aide/bondage model, who came close to getting Karlie off in the shower and then gave Karlie her number to call when she wants to go to a bondage party. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS???"

"Who am I forgetting? Oh yeah, Gigi. We can't forget Gigi...the girl Karlie begged to have phone sex with her but she 'blamed it on the alcohol,' and thought she was talking to Taylor."

"So, if Karlie is out there somewhere, moping around, realizing that her marriage is crumbling, then fucking good. Let her see all the unselfish things Taylor has done. Even when Taylor cheated with Dianna in London, she still told Karlie, right after. She never needed to do 'damage' control because a picture leaked."

Lily couldn't believe what just happened. She never expected this from her friend. "I'm speechless. I'm not really sure what I should say right now."

"I'm sorry, Lily.It's just that sometimes they reminded me of my relationship with Cara." Behati began to cry as she continued. "Sometimes you try and try and try and you give all of yourself to one person in hopes that they'll give all of themselves back to you. And it's not always like that. No one should have to live with someone who only confesses their sins only when they're about to get caught."

"You're right Behati. Why didn't you say something? Why didn't you turn to me to talk to?"

"Lily, no offense but all you ever did was criticize Cara. She's never been a favorite of yours. You dealt with her only because she's was one of Karlie's best friends and because you and I are close."

"I'm sorry Behati. I wish I was a better friend to you."

"Don't be silly. You're a great friend to me Lily. Cara is just a topic that we can't really talk about. Listen, I'm gonna let you go. I'm sorry that I flew off the handle. If Karlie does call me, I'll let you know. Bye."

The girls hung up the phone as Lily just sat their in her own little world. She was trying to absorb all of the things Behati had said. Maybe her friend was right. Maybe she protected Karlie long enough and this was now her time to make things right with her wife, on her own. Still, she hated not knowing where Karlie was or if she was ok. Maybe she doesn't always make the best decisions but she's a good person and Lily loves her like a sister. She'll do whatever she can to protect her, she just hoped that she didn't do anything stupid.
