The next morning, Karlie went off to work with Scott, while Taylor stayed home with the baby, two puppies and two cats that are still missing.

"Come on little girl, let's get you dressed and then we'll go see your puppies."

Taylor and Mikayla made their way downstairs as the little one went running over to the dogs.

"Hi."

"Are you saying hi to the puppies? You're so smart. What's mommy gonna do with you?"

Taylor let the dogs out, so they could run around the house for a bit as her daughter chased them. Maverick was a pretty good listener but the Rottweiler was a handful and a half. He bolted out from the gated area, almost knocking Mikayla down as the baby just stood there laughing and then turned to chase him.

"ZEUS, WHERE ARE YOU?" Taylor yelled as the hyper puppy went running down the hall, around the corner and up the stairs.

"Ughhhh, damn dog. Come on Maverick, go eat.

"MIKAYLA, COME OVER HERE PLEASE."

"Nooo mommy."

"MIKAYLA....NOW!"

The baby immediately began to cry as she heard the seriousness in Taylor's voice. She just laid her little body on the floor and threw a temper tantrum. As Taylor came around the corner to get her, the phone began to ring. A frustrated Taylor answered the phone, as a super happy and familiar voice greeted her.

"Hey baby. What's wrong with Mikayla?"

"Ughhh, I let the dogs out and they were running around and then Zeus took off and she chased him and I yelled for her to come back where I could see her and she said no and threw herself on the ground and is now having a fit. I have no idea where the fucking dog is now and the cats are still missing. Are you coming home soon?"

"Hahahaha. Babe, it's only 10am. I'll be here until at least 5. The trainer should be coming over around noon to work with the dogs. Take good notes for me, so you can show me everything they teach you."

"Karrrrlie, this was supposed to be YOUR job. Why did you set up the trainer on a day that you're working?"

"Tay, he's only available during the week. Oh, and he asked that bean be awake because he has some training exercises that require her interaction with the dogs too."

"Kar, that's her nap time. Ughh, let me let you go. She's in a full blown meltdown right now. Make sure you're home for dinner ok?"

"I will babe. I love you."

"I love you too."

Taylor picked up Mikayla and rocked her back and forth as the baby continued to scream her head off. Running down the stairs with a chewed up Manolo heel hanging from his mouth came Zeus.

"UGHHH, ZEUS, I'M GONNA KILL YOU. YOU'RE GOING BACK TO THE SHELTER."

Taylor got up as the baby began to laugh once Zeus dropped the shoe and came over to lick her.

The singer grabbed the dogs collar and walked him over to his food bowl while Mikayla watched her every move.

"Hi." Mikayla said as Zeus stood against the gate, looking at her.
