Karlie was the second to wake up. She looked down at her little munchkin who was wide awake and kicking her feet while trying to shove her whole fist in her mouth.

"What are you doing silly? Are you hungry?"

Hearing Karlie's voice, Taylor started to open her eyes. Karlie leaned over and kissed her wife as their little one waved her little arms, brushing Karlie's chin in the process.

"Someone woke up happy." Taylor said as she kissed the baby. "You are just too cute. I just love you so much. Are you hungry? Do you want to eat."

"By the looks of her legs kicking all over the place, I'd say it's safe to assume that she's hungry." Karlie replied.

Karlie moved from the couch so Taylor could get more comfortable. As Taylor fed the baby, Kalrie laid back down, placing her head on the singers lap.

"Awww, I have my two babies snuggled up next to me." The singer said. "So, tell me about this surprise."

Karlie sat up quickly and positioned herself next to her wife. "Well, as you know, Lily and Dixie are coming to visit for a few days and I asked them to stay at our house. Not only because we both would love their company, but because they are going to babysit Mikayla for a few days. I wanted to take you somewhere special, just the two of us but because of the location, it wasn't the most ideal idea. So, I improvised and I'm bringing this special location to you. But don't ask me where this place is because I'm not telling you. That has to be kept a surprise."

"Kar, you don't have to do that. Just you being home is enough for me. I don't want you to think that I constantly need you to surprise me."

"I know you don't need me to surprise you, but I wanted to. You've been under a lot of stress with your mom and then me being away for three weeks and you having the baby by yourself, I'm sure that didn't make things any easier. I wanted to do something nice for you, just the two of us. We both trust Lily, so I knew that you wouldn't have a problem with her babysitting for a couple of days. I just wanted to spend time with you."

"Come here and gimme kiss." Taylor said as her wife met her half way. "I appreciate everything you do for me and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us."

"I'm gonna go start breakfast. What would you like?"

"Something healthy." Taylor replied.

Karlie went downstairs and started breakfast, as the doorbell began to ring.

"KARWEE!"

"Hey cutie, how are you?"

Karlie scooped up Dixie and swung her around in a circle as she gave her a bunch of kisses.

"I swear you're her favorite person." Lily said as she hugged her friend. "I'm sorry we're so early."

"That's ok. You're just in time for breakfast. Taylor is upstairs finishing up feeding the baby. Hey Dixie, you can go see Mikayla if you want."

The little girl went up the talk staircase one step at a time, as she had both hands on the next step.

"Oh my God, she's so cute." Karlie said as she watched the little girl go up the stairs.

Lily and Karlie went into the kitchen to start cooking. "Hey Lil, want anything in particular?"

"Whatever you guys are having is fine."
