It's Wednesday morning and Karlie is making her way to her fitting and runway rehearsal for the show she'll be in on Friday and Saturday.

When she arrived, she made her way to the fitting area, where she also saw several models from different agencies that she hasn't seen in a while. Across the room, there was one in particular that she was extremely thrilled to see.

"HEY!!"

"HI KARLIE!"

Lily and Karlie went running towards each other with excitement. They haven't seen one another since their ordeal and the last Karlie knew, Lily was going to be taking at least six months off.

"Lil, why didn't you tell me you were gonna be in the show? I thought you were taking time off?"

"I was going to but the more I sat at home, the more my mind just drove me crazy, thinking about everything we experienced. I got the call a few days ago, asking if I'd be in the show, so I figured I might as well."

"Well, I am so glad to see you." Karlie said as she hugged her friend again. "Since you're in NY, you should go see Miss Simpson. She tried a new technique with me to get me over my fear of flying and so far it's working. I actually got on a plane last weekend and went to visit Taylor in St. Louis. Granted, I haven't flown overseas yet, but I definitely came a lot farther than I thought I would. And my nightmares have gotten under control. I still have a couple here and there but no where near as many as I did in the beginning."

"Well, it might be worth a shot to call her and see if she'll be able to see me while I'm here." Lily replied.

As the two spoke, there was another familiar face that had walked in behind Lily. By the look on Karlie's face, Lily knew this wasn't a friend. She slowly turned around to see who caught Karlie's eye.

"What's SHE doing here?" Lily asked in complete shock.

"I don't know, but I'm calling my manager to find out."

Karlie called Sarah. As soon as she answered, Karlie whispered in a stern voice, "What is Toni Garrn doing here?"

"Karlie, listen. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I knew you probably wouldn't do the show and this is huge. The designer wants the two of you to walk in the show....together."

"WHAT? As in side by side?"

"Karlie, listen, it won't be that bad. The designer is doing a 'couples' theme and he just felt that she'd be the best fit for you."

"So, the TWO of us are actually opening and closing the show, not just me? Am I understanding this correctly?"

"Yes Karlie."

"Sarah, this is really fucked up and to be quite honest, I don't really know if I still want you as my manager after this. I should NOT be finding out about this, in this way. I have to go."

Karlie hung up the phone as she looked at her friend.

"Do you believe this? I'm opening and closing the show with Toni? I knew I should have just trusted my gut from the get go and turned this whole thing down."

"Well Kar, it's too late for that. Besides, you got this. You're better than Toni. Don't let her get to you. If you refuse to do it, then she gets the satisfaction in knowing that she still has an impact on you. You're gonna own the runway like you always do. Just pretend she's not there."

"Thanks Lily, we'll see how good my pretending skills are."

"Enough about Toni. What's this I hear that you have a favorite pastime shooting guns with Cara?"
