{Breaking News}

A thirty car pile up has been reported on I95 south in the Westport/Norwalk area of Connecticut. The highway has been shutdown with state troopers redirecting cars off of the highway by way of accessing the on ramps. At this time, we do not have any reports of fatalities or injuries but as you can see from the helicopter camera, there are numerous rescue vehicles doing all they can to get to everyone as quickly and safely as possible. We will continue to keep you posted as more details are released.

"This cannot be happening." Taylor said as she sat on her couch, just staring at the tv with Kimby and Madison by her side.

"Hey mom, I'm sorry to be calling you so late but Karlie was involved in a car accident."

"What? How is she?"

"We don't have any details as of yet. The Onstar company called the security team and said that the vehicle was involved in an accident. We don't know where she is or at what hospital she was taken to. No one has heard from her in hours and she's not answering her phone."

"Where was the accident?"

"In Connecticut."

"CONNECTICUT? But, what was she doing there?"

"She was coming back from Rhode Island."

"Rhode Island? Was Taylor and Mikayla with her?"

"No, Taylor and the baby are here. It started snowing pretty hard. The images on tv show a thirty car pile up on the highway."

"Kimby, why was she in Rhode Island?"

"Mom, I'll call you back. Austin is calling me. They're on their way to find her. I'll call you back."

Kimby hung up with her mom and quickly answered the other line.

"Hey Kimby. We just got to Norwalk and pulled into a gas station. We got as close as we could get before we were forced to get off the highway and take back roads. We're gonna call all the hospitals in the area to see if she's been brought in yet. How's Taylor?"

"She's a mess right now. Call me as you guys get more info. Love you."

"Love you too. Bye."

"Where are they?" Taylor asked quietly.

"They just got to a gas station in Norwalk. They're gonna call all the hospitals in the area and try and find her."

Taylor ran her fingers through her hair as she sat on the edge of the couch, rocking back and forth. "This is all my fault. It's all my fault. I was such a jerk to her all day over fucking ice cream. Kimby, I'm so sorry."

"Mama up potty."

Taylor looked at the clock and saw it was nearly 3:30am. Mikayla hasn't woken up in the middle of the night in over a year, unless she was sick. Kimby offered to go get her, since Madison was asleep in her little chair, but Taylor opted to go herself.

"Hi sweetheart, why are you up so early?"

Mikayla rubbed her eyes as she said, "Mama coming? Me go potty."
