There was a faint knock on the music room door. Karlie got up to answer it as Taylor remained on the chair.
                              "Hey Austin, everything ok?"
"Yeah. I, uhh....can I have a minute to talk to my sister, please?"
                              "Sure, I'll be next door."
"No, you can stay. Actually, I want you to hear this too."
Karlie shut the door as Austin walked in and sat on the ottoman.
"I want to apologize for the things I said to you this morning at dad's place. You're an incredible mother and mom would be really proud of you. Your daughter loves you so much and I'm sorry for making it seem like you were less of a mother than what you really are. You've always supported me, even when I did some really stupid shit. You've been more to me than just a sister, you're my best friend and you have been since we were kids. I should have stood by you, not lashed out at you. Kar, I wanted you here as well because I disrespected your wife and in doing that, it's like disrespecting you as well. You guys mean the world to me and I love spending time with the two of you. I love my niece more than anything and I want to still be able to spend as much time with her and you guys as I can. I love you both. Please accept my apology."
Taylor stood up and extended her arms to her brother who gladly hugged her.
"I love you Tay." He whispered.
"I know you do. I love you too. And I accept your apology."
As they pulled away, Austin just looked at Karlie who was staring at him rather intently. She stood up and hugged him as he also apologized to her as well.
"If Taylor is willing to forgive you, then I will too. We love you Austin and we enjoy spending time with you. We want you to be a part of Mikayla's life. You're her crazy uncle that wears tiara's just to make her laugh. She loves you. But do know that if you ever tell my wife that she's not a good mother, I'll beat the shit out of you myself. Understood?"
Austin nodded his head as he left the room.
Karlie walked over to her wife and extended her hand. "Come on baby, let's go see our little girl."
They went downstairs and saw the little one running around being chased by Austin.
"Bean, come here and give us a hug and kiss."
The little one was hysterically laughing as she tried to outrun her uncle and came crashing into Taylor's arms as she knelt down to stop her.
"What's your uncle doing? Was he chasing you?"
Mikayla hugged her mommy and gave her a kiss on the cheek as she continued to look over her shoulder to see where Austin was.
"Hey, if I get tickets for the Rockettes Christmas show for tonight, do you guys want to go?"
"Hell yeah Kar, that'll be awesome. I looooove the Rockettes. I haven't seen their show since mom took us when we were little, remember Kar?"
"Yeah, it's an incredible performance. I think Mikayla will love it with all of the pretty lights and sparkly outfits. Alright, I'm gonna call Lily, Cara and Behati to see if they want to come too and then I'll buy tickets."
Just as Karlie went to pick up her phone, it began to ring.
                              "Hello?"
