GUYS JUST WANNA SAY I LOVE YOU

Marinette dumped her bag on the floor of this grand house. She moved from the city of Paris to a beautiful old place in the country side, and everything but a few antique pieces of furniture had been cleared out. White curtains fluttered from open windows, dust coated white sheets covering couches and chairs. A polished wooden floor was underneath her feet.

So what does any sane person do when in a huge room with polished, slippery, wooden floors? If you guessed 'throw off their shoes and start to slide around the room', you guessed correctly.

She grinned happily, taking off her flats, leaving on her socks and slid around, laughing. An empty house, all to herself, surrounded by green and flowers and it was old and wooden and cottage-y and huge and she had it all to herself! It was a dream come true! (Literally my dream, I want a big house away from civilisation with wooden floors and a cottage-y look and antique stuff)

Still smiling, she twirled and swooped and waved her arms about before opening her mouth to sing her new favourite song by her new favourite artist.

"Oh!
A moment you'll never remember
And a night you'll never forget!
Oh!

All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
Show praise with your body
Stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
And if you can't stop shaking, lean back
Let it move right through ya, hallelujah!
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Hallelujah!

My life started the day I got caught
Under the covers
With secondhand lovers
Oh, tied up in pretty young things
In a state of emergency
Who was I tryna be?

Then the time for being sad is over
And you miss 'em like you miss no other
And being blue is better than being over it, over it

All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
Show praise with your body
Stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
And if you can't stop shaking, lean back
Let it move right through ya, hallelujah!
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Hallelujah!

I was drunk and it didn't mean a thing
Stop thinking about
The bullets from my mouth
I love the things you hate about yourself
Just finished a daydream
Who were you tryna be?

Then the time for being sad is over
And you miss 'em like you miss no other
And being blue is better than being over it over it

No one wants you when you have no heart and
I'm sitting pretty in my brand new scars and
You'll never know if you don't ever try again
So let's try
Let's try
Let's try

All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
Show praise with your body
Stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
And if you can't stop shaking, lean back
Let it move right through ya, hallelujah!
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Hallelujah!

All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!

Show praise with your body
Stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
And if you can't stop shaking, lean back
Let it move right through ya, hallelujah!
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Hallelujah!
"

She clapped her hands in time with the beat of the song, dancing gracefully and it would probably cause her three friends, Alya, Nino and Adrien, to stare at her. Wait -  scratch that - Adrien would stare, Nino would laugh, and Alya would join in.

Hold on.

They were doing that.

While singing and dancing, Marinette hadn't noticed that Alya, Nino and Adrien had arrived soon after her. She grinned at them and sang the chorus again.

"All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!

Show praise with your body
Stand up, sing hallelujah, hallelujah!
And if you can't stop shaking, lean back
Let it move right through ya, hallelujah!
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Hallelujah!

Alya laughed and swung Marinette around on the floor, the two best friends singing random Panic! At The Disco songs. At the second song, Alya pulled Nino into the fray, who pulled along Adrien. They all slid around, laughing and listening to Marinette's sweet voice as it hit every note. Victorious, Emperor's New Clothes, This Is Gospel, Death Of A Bachelor, Miss Jackson, every Panic! At The Disco song they loved. Once they got to Nicotine, Marinette slid over to her phone and played the actual music, before swinging around and singing.

At that song's ending, Hallelujah played, and she grinned and grabbed a hairbrush out of her bag that she had on the floor and pretended it was a microphone. Jumping all over the place, she put on hell of a performance, pulling the three's attention, who all cheered as if she were Jagged Stone. Ending the song with a flip, she landed right in front of Adrien, whose eyes were sparkling with joy and love. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer, absorbed in those beautiful blue eyes of hers.

"Hallelujah, indeed." He whispered and dipped his head to kiss her, which she returned with just as much love, to the cheers and whoops of Alya and Nino.

"Finally, dude!"

"OHMYGOD THE OTP IS REAL!!"

"Hallelujah."

All you sinners stand up, sing hallelujah.

I really love that song, and Panic! At The Disco in general. And twenty one pilots. And Fall Out Boy. And MKTO. I just listened to that and imagined Marinette dancing around on polished wooden floors, so WHOOP THERE IT IS
