Once upon a time there was a girl and a boy.

They came from two different worlds.

She carried a tray full of pastries carefully into the front, sliding the try into a display case and returning to the cashier with a friendly smile.

He posed, listening to the photographers' requests and orders, waiting for the familiar click of the camera before changing position again.

Lead two different lives.

She hugged her parents, kissed their cheeks and took the cupcakes for her classmates from them with a thank you and burst out the door to run to school.

He left the house without seeing his father, slid into the car with his bodyguard and assistant Nathalie.

Had different goals.

She desired to be known for her designs, for her talent.

He longed to be able to be forgotten.

Yet, they couldn't be more alike.

Both were kindhearted.

She dropped her macrons in order to help an elderly man across the street.

He abandoned his one chance to go to school in order to help an elderly man up.

Both were brave.

She stood up to her bully.

He stood up to his father.

Both had a secret.

She was the favourite super-heroine of Paris.

He was the joking hero of Paris by her side.

Neither knew the other.

She was afraid of what he would think of her.

He was afraid of what she would think of him.

Both were in love.

She loved the boy in front of her.

He loved his masked partner.

Both had troubles.

She doubted herself from the very beginning.

He longed to be free from his father.

He was both her prince and her knight.

She was both his princess and his lady.

Once upon a time, both dreamed of a happy ending.

And once upon a time, they got the ending neither wanted, but both needed.
