Chapter 4

A/N okay so this chapter isn't quite finished but I felt I had to update soon so will write more and add it ASAP :)

Chapter 4

I was on my way back to our room when a group of Sophomores came up behind me.
"What do you want girls?" I turned to face them and realised there were more than I had first anticipated.
"You." One of them replied. I cocked an eyebrow and smiled, "Why exactly?"
"That's classified." Another answered as a small girl jumped on to my back and covered my face with a rough sack that scratched my skin.
"Hey." I complained as another one grabbed my hands and tied them behind my back. I was swept off my feet, in a completely unromantic way and carried down a set of steps, probably the grand staircase, across the entrance to the grand hall, because there's a draft in that part of the mansion since it has been rebuilt, and out through the main doors.
The people carrying me took several detours around the school grounds but I knew that we eventually ended up in the P&E barn.
I was sat on a chair and left for fifteen minutes before the sack over my head was removed and I was blinded by a bright light.
"What the...?" I trailed off as my eyes adjusted and I found half of the school's students sat on bean bags and rugs watching me.
"If you wanted me to tell you all a story you only had to ask." I rolled my eyes.
"No, you'd have told us that most of them were Classified." A first year told me.
"That's because most of them are." I told them.
"I'm sure not all of them are." Joe Solomon skulked forward, I now realised that he had been leaning against the back wall.
"Joe." I complained and then everything clicked, "I was their first CoveOps mission?"
"Let me tell you Cameron they were more successful than you." Joe smiled as he jumped up so he was sat on a hay bale at the back of the barn.
"I'd disagree." I told him, "Tell me Joe, are you sure it was a good idea to set a group of first timers on an operative who, has not only done more missions before graduation than any other Gallagher Girl but was also captured and probably tortured by the circle and has no memory of it?"
"One more thing." Bex came in with my roommates and Zach, "Don't kidnap someone when her backup is watching."
"You're lucky she didn't seriously hurt someone Joe." Macey commented, "What if she'd have had a flash back?"
"That wasn't their mission ladies." Joe smiled, of course he always had one more trick up his sleeve, "Their mission was to persuade Cameron Morgan to tell them the story of her first mission."
"Why couldn't our mission be that easy?" Bex asked.
"Because he wanted to scare me out of Ops." I smiled, "Didn't you Joe?"
"You tell us." A junior folded her arms, "Did he want to?"
I looked down and smiled, beaten by the interest of the girls, "Yes."
"Why?" Another girl asked.
"Because he didn't want to see his best friends daughter get hurt." I said quietly, I thought for a second and suddenly stood up, heading towards the door, "They don't need to know all this Joe."
"Well what do we need to know Cammie?" A Sophomore stood and folded her arms, "What should we know about CoveOps before we decide wether or not to continue with it?" I stopped in my tracks and turned back to them all.
"It's only fun and games until you see the scars on your friends." I told them, choosing my words carefully before pulling my jumper over my head and standing in only a thin tank top, I pulled the top up so it was bunched up under my breasts and my scars were on show. I let them look for a minute before saying, "Or seeing the effect those scars have on your friends." I looked to Joe, a sudden lump in my throat, "Some of us know that better than others, don't we Joe?"
