Macey

I was let out of the infirmary the day after Abby had the baby but I had to promise to take things easy until the stitches healed up.

“How are you?” Cam asked me as I went in to her room, Zach had gone for breakfast with Liz and Bex.

“They’ve let me go,” I explained, “How about you?”

“I’m not bad,” She shrugged, “Feeling better,”

“Are you going to go back to work?” I asked, knowing that we would all have to eventually.

“Zach said he will at the start of next month, I’ll probably have to do physio for a couple of weeks before they let me do anything,” She already looked fed up with the idea, “What about you?”

“Preston’s moving over here,” I smiled a little, “I said he could stay with me for a bit but I’m hoping it becomes permanent.”

“And what’s he going to do?” Cam frowned, none of us really knew what he wanted to do.

“He’s looking at doing some office work somewhere in the Alpha Net,” I shrugged, “I’ve put a good word in for him,”

“That’s good,”

“What am I going to do Cam?” I sat on the end of the bed and sighed,

“I assume you mean about your parents?” She checked.

“Yeah,” I nodded, her mom had sent them home and I was meant to be going to talk things over with them but I didn’t know what to say.

“It’s something only you can do,” Cam looked apologetic, “I’m sorry,”

“Don’t be sorry,” I shook my head, “I told you to tell them,”

“I don’t know what you can do really,” Cam shrugged, “Answer their questions,”

“I’ll see how it plans out,” I nodded and looked around as Bex came in with Zach. 

“Guess who we saw in town last night!” Bex smiled to Cammie.

“Do I want to know?” Cam moaned.

“Your mom and Joe were snogging!” She exclaimed.

“Bex!” Zach glared at her making Cam and I laugh.

“How’s it working now then?” Bex frowned, “A three way relationship,”

“I don’t want to think about it,” Cam shook her head but was still smiling.

“Changing the subject,” Zach saved us, “Do any of you know how Liz is getting on with her family?”

“I spoke to her last ngiht,” Bex nodded, “Her parents are going to turn a blind eye in essence, they just want to pretend it’s normal. As for Ellie, she tests well too so I think you’re mom’s going to accept her next year.”

“That’s good,” Zach nodded.

“So what are you doing about work?” I asked Bex.

“I’ve got the rest of the month off then I’m going back over to England,” She sighed, “Grant wants me to stay here but it means changing everything and-”

Before she could finish we were all begging her to stay over here and join our agencies.

“No,” Bex held her hands up, “I can not deprive English security like that,”
