Chapter 63

“Cammie!” Tina Walters came over to us and hugged me tightly, Zach slipped away as the rest of my classmates gathered around.

“Cammie,” She repeated again, “My sources tell me that your dad isn’t where you thought he was!?”

“Well Tina,” I laughed as Bex Liz and Macey joined me, “For once, your sources are correct!”

A while later I was catching up with Anna (Who was doing pretty well for herself, she had a good job in Florida, a serious relationship with a guy called Peter, and even a proper house for herself!)

“So how are things with Zach?”

“Good,” I nodded, not sure it was the best way to describe things, “He got me this for christmas,” I showed her my necklace as I glanced across the beach to where Zach was dancing with a bottle of beer in his hand and Bex in front of him. Our eyes caught for a second before I looked back to Anna.

“That’s so cute!” She exclaimed.

“Yeah,” I smiled as Macey came over and took my arm, “Come and dance?” She asked.

“Okay,” I smiled and pushed through the crowd to Zach. It seemed there was a guy for every girl, it was weird how we’d grown up so much since we’d all last been together.

“We could be back in Brazil,” Zach shouted over the music, I laughed in agreement and wrapped my arms around his neck.

When it began to get late I got up from the bar where I had been drinking OJ I went over to Zach and pulled him away from the dancing.

He didn’t argue or say anything as I pulled him down to the shore. It was dark down there, nobody would see us, I doubted people would come looking.

I reached to the bottom of Zach’s shirt and began to pull it up over his head. 

“What are we doing Cam?” He stopped me once his top was off and I was removing mine.

“I fancy a swim,” I smiled to him and pulled down my shorts, “Aren’t you going to join me?” 

Zach smirked as he pulled off his shorts and ran at me. I attempted to run away before he grabbed my waist and flung me over his shoulder.

“Zach!” I laughed as the sand was replaced by the froth of the waves.

Zach went waist deep in to the water before throwing me away from his shoulder.

I squealed as I made contact with the water and sunk under. I swam to the surface and glared at Zach as he laughed. I swam over to him and stood up level with him.

“I think we should go a little deeper.” He told me as he glanced back to the party. I nodded in agreement as he looked down to my lacy underwear, he moaned and shifted against me, “Come on,” He sighed as we went chest deep in the water. 

I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck, our lips met. It was just the two of us and the waves.

Eventually though we had to go back to the party. We redressed my the water before heading over to the bonfire that had been lit. A few people were still dancing but most of them sat by the fire, each girl with her respective partner. 

We sat and talked about how our lives had changed since school for a while before Zach and I excused ourselves, me claiming I was tired.
