I run down the stairs as I excited to eat breakfast when I noticed the Diaz laughing and talking as I walk slowly into the kitchen I saw Marco hug a girl, who is this girl and why is Marco hugging her the way he hugs me! As I clear my throat they all look at me "Star I'm glad your up, this is Laci she was my best friend from preschool and middle, Laci this is my best friend Star, she's the exchange student we took in a year ago"

wait he called her his best friend I thought I was his only best friend? I felt a lump in my throat and tried to be happy "Nice to meet you, this guy is awesome I'm glad he made a new friend, right Marc?" She even has a nickname for him?! I never thought of one for him "I'm not that awesome Laci, but thanks for the compliment" he said pushing her around "I gotta go!" I yelled out, why did I do that? I'm so awkward, I got stares from them and I blush of embarrassment

"Star you okay?" As Marco went to touch my arm I moved "I'm fine, just need to breath sorry" I walked out the kitchen and up to my room "Why am I getting so mad for?" As I kicked my spell book glossaryck flew out "What's wrong princess" I groan

"I don't know.." I say crossing my arms and he looked at me and smirked "Isn't it obvious..?" I raised my eyebrows "What?" "Your jealous, because Marco has someone that could relate to him am I right?" I blush and held on my wand tighter "Jealous? Why would I be jealous if I'm his best friend?" He gave me a look and floated towards the window

"Well if your not jealous, he's leaving with a girl on his bike" I rushed and pushed him away "What?! That's my thing to do with him! Ugh!" I screamed and glare at them "You need to relax princess, Marco will always be with you so don't stress" I grabbed him and stuffed him into the book "Shut up, your not helping" I quickly run out to find where they went and I saw them head to the park

When I get close enough I see and hear them laugh and act all cute and stuff, I groan and then they fall on the grass and she's on top 'You were always clumsy hug Diaz?' 'Oh yeah, but I'm actually better on my feet' he moves her under him and stands up 'Still in karate?'

'Yeah..so Laci do you like anyone?' Is he serious right now? Asking if she likes anyone..wait do I like Marco more than a friend? I feel hurt and look at them 'Um..can I tell you a secret?' He nods and helps her up 'Well when we were in middle school I had a crush on you..but Jackie was always in your eyes so I supported you' was she just like me? Being there for Marco so he can be with Jackie? Poor girl..poor me

'Really? You liked me? Wow I was so focused on Jackie I didn't realize, I'm sorry Laci' she smiles 'it's okay, but I kinda have a crush on a kid in my art class..his names Jaylen, he's pretty cute' I smile and sigh I was jealous for nothing..she was just a friend from a past that would never happen..I move from my spot and walk towards them "Oh hey Star, feeling okay?" I nod and go hug Laci "A hug?"

As I let go I gave her a smile "Yeah, it looks like you needed one" she giggles "Thanks Star, we were about to get ice cream care to join" I nodded as we began Marco pulled my hand and I blushed "Go on Laci, we'll catch up" she nods and walks off "Marco?" He smiles "Were you jealous?" I nervously chuckled "No! I uh maybe I was, I'm a teenage girl, we are emotional sometimes well mostly me.."

he laughs "Star, you don't have to be, I'll never replace you I'm stuck with you like glue, we are partners in crime" I sigh "Yeah I know..I kinda felt bad about Laci, she looked like she needed a hug of understanding" he looked at me "Okay.." I looked down and Marco still had my hand "Um Marco, your still holding my hand" he nods and interlocks it making me blush "I know.." he held my face and kissed me and I looked at him confused

"Wait a minute! You like me?!" He nods "Yeah..I like you, do you like me?" He said kinda worried if he did something he regrets "No, I mean yeah I do..for a while" he laughs "Laci asked me when we came on the bike, I started to blush" I smiled "So your into me?" He nods and I hug him tight "That's awesome!" We stopped hugging and grabbed his hand once more and catches up to Laci, at least I didn't have to blackmail this time..
