Marco Pov

'They say when you get older, you become a little wiser'

As I rub my eyes I'm surprised with bright blue eyes and I jumped back a bit "Star!" She giggles and attacks me with a hug "You gotta stop getting scared, you are my boyfriend now, get used to it"

I chuckled and kissed her quick "Sorry, what are you doing next to me?" She playfully rolls her eyes and pulls out a small box "It's your birthday, duh?"

I nod and I totally forgot about it "Oh, you didn't have to get me anything" "As your girlfriend I should at least get you something and it didn't cost me a thing" I gave her a smirk and opened the box

"Whoa it's a locket" she giggles and opens it "Yup, it has our photo in their so you can think of us wherever you are" I smile "Thanks Star, love you"

I leaned in and kissed her and she laughs between it "Love you too" as I put it on my door opened and my mom and dad came in with a cake "Happy birthday Marco!" I smiled and rolled my eyes

"Thanks guys, best birthday so far" as I blew the candles "Now get ready we planned your day" I nod and start preparing..wonder what's in store?

Star Pov

' a birthday is just the first day of another 365 day journey'

"Happy birthday Marco, your older than me..and looking taller" I giggle and blow out the little candle I brought him, I kiss his cheek inches away from his lips

"Wish you were awake so we can do something for your special day, lucky for you I bought you a gift and it didn't cost a thing" I pulled out the locket from my bag and put it around his neck

"It's a locket that has our picture in it, well the last one we had taken together" as I look at him I see his hair is getting out of control, sooner or later he needs a hair cut but then again he looks cute with long hair? I blush just thinking of it "Why am I thinking like that?" I sigh and play with my fingers

"You know..sometimes I just want to use my wand for you to wake up but.." I looked at him and sigh "I don't want to risk hurting you again.." as I lay next to him, for once in a long time, it felt like he was there but I was just fooling myself

'Oh..I didn't know..someone was here?' as I moved away I was kinda upset and surprised who walked through the door "It's fine, what are you doing here?" She sighs and moves her hair from her face

'I came to see Marco, I guess since its his birthday I would at least say hi, I always write a birthday card when we were younger' she walked closer to us and looked at him with guilt or sorrow almost "I never knew that?"

I truly didn't know he received cards from Jackie, no wonder he likes her 'Yeah, it became a thing with us' she placed the card beside his bed and flowers and kissed his cheek 'Wake up soon karate boy'

she looked at me and smiled a bit while she left the room, I felt jealous but then guilt because what if Marco is dreaming of Jackie while he's asleep and I've been wasting my time..

shut up Star your his best friend, you'll always be first..then why do you feel confused and lost? I glanced towards the card and I wanted to open it but that's invading his privacy but also I want to know what she wrote to him..

I looked at him and the card "I'm sorry Marco, but I have to know" I opened it and it just had a birthday quote and a bit of letter

Happy Birthday dude, sorry I haven't came and saw you at all last year, I hate coming to hospitals it reminds me of my mother's death..I'll try to come but it's not a promise I still feel freaked out but I hope you wake up, because someone is waiting for you on the other side..she is always by your side and you bring a smile to her face just know I am not the one for you..it was her all along, so when you wake up go to her, bye Marco get well..'

A tear fell and I closed the card and put it down and sat by him and grabbed his hand "I know for certain that I'll be by your side" I sobbed quietly into his hand and I felt weak and emotionally drained, all this has been horrible for me, Marco just wake up for me...

Marco Pov
All day my family and Star had made me so happy and for once it didn't feel different well until it started raining out of no where?
"Was is going to rain?" As I open the umbrella and me and Star got under and my parents had their own

"Nope, clear skies which is odd, oh well let's get going home" as we started to walk I noticed star was crying but she was smiling and laughing,

what's happening? As I look at her, her eyes are glowing and I kinda get worried 'Happy birthday Marco, your older than me and also taller' I touch star if she's okay "Um star?" She closed her eyes and she was back

"Where did I go?" I shrugged "I don't know, you said happy birthday to me, you already said that this morning" she nods but seemed off "Yeah I'm probably tired let's go"

she walk away from me while getting soaked I ran towards her and she pushed away, and it was hot? I watched her enter the house and she went straight upstairs and I stayed at the door just thinking of that touch

it's like she boiling with anger or seemed jealous but what? As got ready for bed my right hand felt like a brick was laying on it, I began to shake it and it soon soften and felt my hand get wet as if it was tears?

As I look at my hand I saw tears falling down and I just stood there, what's going on here? As get to bed I look up at my ceiling and thought about today's events,

Star pushed me away and was burning, her talking back with different eyes, my hand feeling crushed and wet? I sigh and close my eyes

'Come back Marco..'

I quickly open my eye, it sounded like star but she's in the other room right? I quickly leave my room and open her door and she's in her pjs and staring out her window

'Sometimes I feel like I'm the one to blame..you deserve so much better, when you wake up I'm going to write you all that has happened, I promise you' I slowly walk towards her

"Star?" As I face her towards me her eyes were glowing again 'Jackie came and saw you, the card she gave you made me mad and upset, but after I read it i felt bad for being angry with her..I'm sorry' I shake star but her eyes didn't change "Star what's wrong with you?!"

'I just want to kiss you but I know when your awake it was just a dream to me..' wake up? But I am up right? 'I sometimes can't sleep because your not across from me' she said pointing at the door

'I have to sleep with one of your red hoodies which I think aren't going to fit you, who knows' she began to giggle 'I believe in you Marco, but I want you back already' a tear fell her face and I felt it on my face,

it made me jump a little and I felt a warm kiss on my cheek and touched it, as I look back star fell on the floor and was asleep and I quickly put her into her bed "What's going on with you?" I felt her head but it was ice again..this definitely isn't right..

A/n got another part done and also I might be deleting some books or discontinued them so don't be upset because simply I lost motivation or I just don't have a plot anymore sorry guys..
