The Red String..

Got inspired by a tumblr post where Jackie can see the Red String that is tied between Marco and Star..with my own twist of course

So it's a short writing prompt and I hope you like it..

No hate on Jackie. She's a lovable character and shouldn't be bashed like that..

Whenever I'm with Marco I feel okay and chill but I could tell in his mind he struggles trying to keep me happy when he shouldn't, even though I like the small gestures I'll still like it if he just toned down a bit..everytime I look at his hands it seems like its always in fist and if her let's go I see a light or something,

once I noticed I followed it as it took me straight towards his best friend Star "Star?" She was crying softly to herself and I realized I took her best friend away to keep her happy..the only one that understand her that nobody else can, I held the light or you may say string in my hands and feel guilt rush over me as I turn I see him smiling and acting nervous with me, I sigh and held his hand and I went and helped Star up as well she wiped her face,

Marco dropped the bouquet of flowers onto the floor and pulled Star into an embrace, I smiled seeing him comfort her the way he was supposed to, not being with me for the time being, he should've stayed by her side and I see how much stronger they are together, the Red string shining brighter then before, knowing what has to be done..

I stepped back and looked at both while I held the string to ask what is this and I'm interfering with it? Star sigh deeply and looked right me with her hand up "We're bonded for life, we can't undo what's been done, Marco saved me that one night and the moon chose us to have our souls together for the rest of our lives, I'm sorry Jackie"

I smirked a bit because Marco always have to protect Star no matter what and I never needed any of it, I was tough and cool about everything but realizing how close they are I may be out of his life and hers, I will always like Marco but for now he should stay put and be with Star, she's hurt and suffering from the lost of her book and her mentor, it's not a time for love, the only love that should be giving is Marco towards Star, besties but lovers for life..

I could tell the look in Marcos eyes he knew that it wasn't possible to be with someone else but it's possible, but right now he should just stay with Star, seeing as the red string shining brighter each time they are near, always knowing when she's in danger or needs help, he's always there for her, having that deep connection is rare and you should always treasure it

"Marco, take care of Star..we'll have our time some other time alright, right now she needs you" he smiles and Star hugs me tight "Thank you" she whispers as let's go and looks at Marco with soft eyes, it was better ending this way, coming between would make it worse then it already has..

Maybe one day I'll find my other half?
