Star Pov
I lay on the couch as I wait for Marco to be ready, he takes longer than me even if he wears the same hoodie over and over again "ready, let's get to school star" I nod and get up and walk with him, Marco and me have gotten so close over the past year and it's crazy but there's one problem..he still likes Jackie and I started to like him..

yeah shocker but not really, I always tried putting subtle hints but he sometimes looks at me weird or ask if I'm okay and I just nod and shrug it off "Star your pretty quiet today, something wrong?" I sigh and look forward "No, just thinking about stuff.." he smirks and puts his arm over my shoulder "Hey, if something is up just tell me okay?"

I could feel my cheeks warm up at how close he was to my face "Alright.." as we got to our lockers, everyone started to gasp or something and me and Marco looked confused because we have no idea what is going on "What's going on Marco?" He tries to look over the crowd of students but can't really see anything "No idea" as I shut my locker Janna appears

"It's a new student, he's pretty hot to sat" I looked at the crowd and noticed it was more girls than guys "So it's a new boy? What else you know Janna?" Marco asked looking at her suspiciously "Well, I know his name is Tristan and he moved from New York, that's all I know" Marco nods and pulls my hand "Come on star, don't want to be stuck in the middle of that"

I kept looking back and as I look, I caught a glimpse of a pair of teal eyes and I felt my heart race a bit "Wow.." I say holding my chest "Star? You okay?" I nod and sit in my seat with hearts in my eyes, his beautiful eyes were so amazing..

I bite my pencil of just thinking of this guy.. "Alright! Some of you guys know we have a new student, so I'm not going to bother but his name is Tristan Lockhart and he moved from New York so...shut up! As I was saying go sit by Star butterfly" I dropped my pencil and grabbed my desk, he was going to sit across me and he was so hot!

"Hey..are you the girl I locked eyes with earlier?" I blushed "yes..that's me.." he chuckles "Your really pretty, I like your headband, I could tell you like to have fun right?" I nod slowly "Are you okay?" I giggle "I'm totally fine, just..uh never encountered someone so hot before" he chuckles and picks up my pencil

"Well thanks for the compliment, and here you go"
I looked at his hand and got my pencil and his hands felt soft when I touched it, he kept looking at me and I smiled

Marco Pov
Ugh not again, Star has a crush on the new kid, first it was Oskar and then that kid Tony from the store, ugh now this super dreamy guy that came from New York! Ugh now I watch his every move and see if he's dangerous or not "Star.." as I called her name she walked right past me with Tristan talking and laughing, ugh not on my watch, I quickly caught up with them

"So you love art, that's pretty cool I like drawing and stuff but I'm not that good" "yeah, I had a office in my old house where I had my art studio, my mom gave it to me for my birthday it's pretty cool" I rolled my eyes and stood beside star "Oh hey Marco, this Tristan my new friend, Tristan this is Marco my best friend" he smiled and extended his hand for me to shake

"Nice to meet you dude" I glared at him and he moved his hand back "I see..your not the type to shake hands, I understand perfectly" I roll my eyes "He's super friendly, what's the matter Marco he was being nice to you" I hold my arm "Nothing.." Star looked annoyed and grabbed his arm and went into art, ugh what's the matter with me?

Am I jealous of the new guy because he has Star attention? I slowly enter and see her and him giggling and talking and I sit alone and stay to myself and ignore them, because if I do anything else star might get upset with me even more

Star Pov
I kept looking back at Marco, that was so rude what he did to Tristan, but then again Marco is always trying to protect me "hey, you okay Star?" I look at Tristan and shake my head "It's my friend, Marco he..ugh how do I put this? He's very protective of me, and since I have all my attention on you he wants me to listen to him?"

Tristan chuckles "He sounds jealous, are two dating?" I blush and shake my head fast "No, no me and him aren't dating, we're just best friends that's all..but I wish we were more but he likes a girl already so I have to deal with it" he sigh and raised my chin up "Hey, he's pretty dumb to not find you pretty and beautiful, I might have just met you but your different from girls I seen today"

I could feel my face warm up and he leans in and kisses my cheek and when he legs go an angry Marco appears between us "Alright pretty boy! You can woo her and call her pretty names but you can't kiss her! You barely know her and quite frankly I don't see you or her dating at any point!" I looked at Marco who was fuming with anger "Dude chill, she said you guys were just friends and you have eyes for another girl, I was making her feel better"

he winked at me and I smirked "I..I...I..uh" Marco was tongue-tied and nervously chuckled "Marco? Do you have something to say to me?" I ask and he nods "Look star, the reason why I don't like the choices you pick for your guys, except you Tristan..your alright, but the point is..I started to like you..and I get jealous when your not with me or even listening..it makes me mad"

I giggled "Marco, can I confess something too?" He nods "I actually like you too,but I thought you still liked Jackie so I put my feelings aside for you" he looked hurt "Wow, just so you can make me happy?" I nod and he hugs me "I'm happy if your just there for me or even making smile too" I held on his hoodie and looked at Tristan and said thank you and he smiled "So, now that's out what now?" He held out his hand and I took it and interlocked ours together and we walked out of class..and felt happy "Love you Star" Marco kissed my cheek and I smiled as we walked home..at least I have Marco
