Writing prompt: Star has to go and practice for her royal coordination, but what happens when a beast comes and calls out to her? Marco drink something thinking it was juice and it's not but he doesn't know that..

Star Pov
I groan as I finished putting my old princess clothing, it was a little tighter then I remembered but then again I don't really wear it, as I placed my crown Marco walks in drinking soda or water? Beats me "Where you're going?" I sigh and fixed my dresses ruffles "A coordination rehearsal, I have to go to it every other month, so don't stress I'll be safe on mewni with my parents, are you doing anything?"

He shrugs and finished his drink "probably not, maybe watch TV until you get back" he made an uneasy face which worried me a bit "You okay Marco? You seem..not well?" He rubbed his stomach "Yeah, I think it was the drink..but I'm fine it'll pass" I nodded and a portal opened and my parents stepped out "Ready Star? Hello Marco nice seeing you"

my mother said and he nods and they walk in and I follow "Hey, here in case you need me or something okay?" I have Marco the scissors and he nodded and I left, something in me felt uneasy with Marco he looked pale "Star, are you alright?" I nodded and smiled at mother

"Yeah, I'm fine..let's get this done so I can go back with Marco" she smirks and nods and we get to the ballroom and I see everyone waiting on me, I feel nervous before I take my father's hand and start dancing..but all I could think about is Marco and if he's alright?

Marco Pov
As star left I headed towards my room, my stomach was acting funny and it bothered me, as I looked in the mirror I noticed my eyes turn lighter as it was gold, as I rubbed my face my hands were furry and my nails were claws! I groan as I felt my bones cracking and moving in different directions,

I fell to the ground growling and scratching the wooden floor, my body ached and I felt my eyes flung open I looked down and at my hands and looked at myself I screamed well it came out more of a growl, as I stand up I barely fit in my bedroom, I had to find Star, I don't know what's happening to me..

I run downstairs to find where I left the scissors and I see my mom frozen in fear as I tried to talk she backed up a bit "Please..don't hurt me!" I gave her a look and titled my head "Angie..oh my goodness..don't move and call animal control..slowly move towards the back door"

as I looked at them they bolted out and I groan and run back upstairs and found them in her bedroom, as I tried grabbing a hold of the darn thing I opened it with my teeth, as I arrived in mewni I heard screams and yells "Monster! Get it!" I shook my head and ran towards the castle but that was a mistake..I was being shot with arrows and stones, as I looked up I saw Star's father, as I got close enough

I tackled him and looked into his eyes, he chuckles and pushes me off "Away with you fowl beast" I shake and managed to enter the castle I passed by people and heard their gasps and grunts and screams when the saw me, I didn't want to be this anymore, I called out for Star but it came out ruffled with a roar as I see her she paused her dancing and locked eyes with me, I smiled and walked closer she came closer as well and I kneeled and reached for her as she reached

For my arm I was shot at in my arm, I yelp in pain and pulled it out my arm "Stay away from my daughter! Star move away from it!" Star looked at me and her father "Stop, don't hurt him..it's Marco dad" everyone looked shocked and confused "Marco? How do you know it's him?" She groans and points at my ruined red hoodie "His hoodie, isn't it obvious?" I got to her level and nuzzle her and she held me "What did you drink?" I have no idea what it was "Can I change him back?" She asked her mother and she nods

"Yes, it's in the book, but you might want to tend to his wound first" as I looked at my arm I had a hole from the arrow her father sent me "sorry old chap, didn't realize it was you..truly sorry for my actions" I nod and held my arm, star pulled my side and we were in the infirmary, I watched her wrap around my cut or wound and she giggles

"I have a feeling, you drank Janna's  beast potion, I totally forgot me and her were messing around..guess it worked I gave her a low growl and she shakes her head "Sorry..but serves you right for drinking things that aren't yours" I nodded in agreement "I don't have a spell but a potion would do, stay right here don't go anywhere" I nodded and I saw her run off, as I stayed there I realized I saw a tiny red string when she reached out for me

"Got it, just drink it up and your back to your normal self" I grabbed it and gulped it down, as I felt it I shook my head and my bones were going back to they were before "I'm so glad I'm human again, man my arm is killing me" star smiled and pulled me into a hug, I wrapped myself around her tighter, she could've lost me today just for looking for her

"You had me worried, I knew I had a gut feeling..I'm glad your okay" I pulled away and looked at her eyes "I'm sorry, and thanks for saving me means a lot" she nods and she kisses my head "Let's go home, I don't want to be here anymore" we giggled and made it home, when we did we saw bear traps and other things to capture animals "Mom! Dad what is going on?"

They came out from their hiding spot "Kids! Come and hide their was a giant creature in the house..it looked at me and your father" I rolled my eyes and Star laughs "Mom, that creature was me, look at my clothes their ripped up and torn, I'm sorry I scared you both" they tool their gear off and hugged me and Star "Oh we're sorry Marco, it's just the monster freaked us out.." I nodded and smiled

"It's okay, I'm gonna shower so night" they nodded and started cleaning up their mess, when I reached the bathroom, star unwrap my cut, it was healing kinda fast "What?" She smiles "Magic.." I grabbed her hand and lift her chin "Thanks Star" she blushed "Your welcome, I'll let you be, call me when you need help" she left and I hopped in the shower, never again I'm drinking anything from the fridge..
