Star Pov
I wake up to the sound of yelling and screaming from outside the door "Star? I think your dads here?" Marco said coming towards me looking tired and annoyed "Yeah..I got this Marco, don't worry.." I yawn and rub my eyes to wake up, as I get downstairs I see my dad messing up the yard

"Hey dad, what are you doing here? So early in the morning?" He chuckled and pulled me into a death grip hug "Star! My beautiful daughter! I missed you and I wanted to spend time with you once again, I apologize from the last visit..and again sorry for your boyfriend Marco"

'I'm not her boyfriend!' Marco said from his room and I chuckled "Oh dad it's okay, so what do you want to do?" He chuckles and looks around "Shall we go eat I'm pretty starved" I nod and we head out into town and find a cute little diner me and Marco usually go to

"So Star, how's earth and all?" I nod and smile "It's pretty great, I learned so many things I never knew applied on mewni" he gave me a confused look "So..no fighting wilder beast?" "no" "Ugly creatures?" I shake my head "Anything with action?" "Not much really..it's pretty mellow on earth" he groans "Guess you know how to survive on earth, but what's the point" he said kinda down

"Dad what's the real reason your here..again?" He looked at me and down at his food "I wanted to spend time with you, I miss having you around the castle, but I know your mother wants you to be calm and collected like a soon to be Queen should be...but your my little warrior"

I smile "Aww dad, okay what do you want to do, just you and me name anything at all..but not on this dimension don't want to get in trouble with the law..been there done that" he nods and looks excited "Well then off to mewni to fight some wild creatures!" He yells and a couple people looked at us "Dad, lower your voice and sit down" he got off the table "Sorry, Wild creatures!" He whispered yell and I giggled

As we arrived on mewni we prepared ourselves for defeating monsters, it was going to be a piece of cake "Ready star!" I nod "Yes! Bring it on!" We entered the forest of doom and yelled like maniacs and found some monsters, and fought with them for hours..after awhile I stopped and watch my dad fight and I lay and play with my hair

"Come on Star! You can get this guy!" I yawn and ignored him "Star?" He stopped and walked near me "What's wrong darling?" I shake my head "Dad, I'm getting bored..can we do something else?" He groans "Like what?" I shrug

"You take your pick" he nods and puts me on his shoulders and starts running towards the cave "Waterfall diving, what do you say?" A smile grew on my face and I jumped right in and the water felt nice "Come on dad!" He chuckled and jumps too and making a huge splash and I laugh along with him, we floated for hours and it felt relaxing "Star can I ask you something?"

I look at my dad who looks worried "Yes dad?" He looked up at me "I know your at that certain age where you fall in love and find your mate..but when you do never replace your father" I shake my head and wrapped my arms around him "Your always be number one to me" and in that moment I felt like I was 3 years old in my father's arms giggling along with him

"Okay good, you know that Marco fellow isn't that bad, at first I thought he wasn't right for you but..he seems to make you happy" I blush a bit and splash him a bit "Dad, Marco is just my best friend, we don't really see each other more than that"

I said honestly even though I like it when he freaks out about that "You both say that now, when your older you'll see it was meant to be, it'll take time trust me" I smiled and nodded "Okay, well I spent the whole day with you dad, want to take me back home?"

He nods and we get out and dry ourselves and head to earth.. as we stood in front of the Diaz household, my father gave me a tight hug "I love you darling, so dearly" I held tight "Me too dad" as we let go Marco opened the front door "Hello King Butterfly, how was your day?" Dad walked up to Marco and pulled him into a death hug "It was wonderful my boy, keep my little girl safe" Marco was turning blue and purple

"Dad he can't breathe!" He let go and I rushed to his side and help him stand "My bad, don't know my own strength" Marco took in deep breaths and smiled a bit "It's okay...just warn me...next time, oh my chest" he said holding his chest and I held on his side

"Alright, I must be going later dear, goodbye Marco" he cut a portal and left and I helped Marco in and we sat on the couch "So, had fun with your dad?" I nod and remembered what he said "Yeah..absolutely" we shared a smile and spent the remainder talking and watching tv, maybe someday we will be together..
