911, Amusement & Falling Apart - Chapter 39

Zayn's P.O.V.

The only thing going through my mind at that moment, was how he got into my house. As far as I knew, Perrie and I were the only one's that had a key to my house. I didn't even give one to Harry! So I had a whole lot of questioning. Hopefully, this didn't turn ugly. If so, then it would be ugly for him...and maybe Perrie. She nonchalantly walked right passed him! With my baby.

"You're going to have to go," I said calmly, reaching for the home phone. I glared at him, staring into his eyes, a serious, angry, look on my face.

"Is that supposed to disconcert me?" He grinned in amusement. "See, Zayn, that's what I like about you. You're not a real man, you're a poser. You're trying to be something you're not. You think you're successful, you think you're happily married, you think people like you, you think Harry is your friend, you think, you have the right to tell me what to do!? You're wrong." With those words, he lunged at me, pushing me harshly against the wall, my back seizing in pain.

The phone dropped from my grasp, hitting the ground with a crash. He was yelling words at me that I couldn't process, and I pushed him back, pulling myself away from the wall, ignoring the pain in my back.

"First move, and now I have an advantage." I smirked. He quirked an eyebrow, mouthing a confused 'what' but I didn't give him time to speak. I punched him in the jaw, and he hurtled back, attempting to hit me back, but I ducked below his swing, and grabbed his waist, pushing him down. Over him, I started to punch him repeatedly. I didn't care anymore. He made the first move. Self defense.

As I was punching him over and over again, I heard sirens nearing the house, and Perrie ran down the stair. "Stop! Zayn, stop! I called the police, let them take care of this. Please, stop, I don't want you in trouble."  She pleaded.

Gritting my teeth, I hesitantly stood up, giving him a kick to his gut. He gasped in pain, groaning and grabbing where I kicked him at.

Perrie started to push me back, and I stopped her, not in the mood. "Leave me alone, you caused this!" I snapped at her, walking passed her, going outside. The police was stopping outside the gate, and I walked over there and opened it.

As the officer stepped out of his car door, he said, "We got a call about domestic violence?"

Louis limped his way outside, holding onto his side, his nose and lips bleeding. "Yes! He started a fight!" he said.

"First of all, I didn't start it. He started it," I protested.

"We're going to have to ask that the both of you come down to the police station to tell us everything that happened, so we can get both sides of the story," he said, writing down on his notepad. He glanced up.

"Sure," I said.

Next thing I know, I was being handcuffed. "What are you doing?!"

"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of the law," the officer said. I rolled my eyes as they forced me into the police cruiser.

*Perre's P.O.V.* 

How dare he just show up like that?! I told him to never do that! He's an idiot! Now I'm in big trouble.

My thoughts were driving me crazy. I hadn't gotten any sleep that night, and Jasper kept crying. I was going insane!

Currently I was sitting at the table, a cup of coffee in front of me, my hands holding onto it tightly.

I didn't know what to think - all that I could think, was that he knew. He knew I was having an affair, and I'm an idiot for it. I had to set things straight. I was calling things off with Louis. I couldn't do this - I couldn't lose Zayn like this.

The tears began to fall down my face, and I couldn't hold off the sobs that wracked my body. I was falling apart, and I deserved this. I really did. But, I had an idea.

Forcing the tears to stop, I began to write the letter.
