Zayn's P.O.V.

( October 21st )

A whole week after Jasper's birthday, and life is still pretty good. We've had no complaints the past week. It was amazing. Perrie was happier than ever, Jasper was the best part of our lives, and Seth was finally fully grown. I was happy that everything was falling right into place. After months of torture, both mentally and physically, the world was back at my side. Nothing felt better.

Perrie was out with Caraline at the moment and I had just gotten home from a visit to a new house, which I'd be working on tomorrow. Perrie had Jasper so it was just Seth and I for a while. It wasn't bad at all. Just knowing everything was in place gave me a fuzzy, warm feeling inside. It was as if everywhere I looked I just saw gold. That's how good things were.

After a quick, yet relaxing shower I went downstairs and sat on the couch, turning on the television. I scrolled through some channels before settling on ID, laying back to relax, getting comfortable. I ended up falling asleep. I was already tired so laying down didn't help.

Caraline was knitting something for Harry, I couldn't remember what it was, but she was really into it. On the T.V. being played was Fox News. I was rocking Jasper on my knee, running my fingers through his short, soft hair.

"Well, Caraline, I'm going to get headed home now. It's getting kind of late and I've got to pick up dinner." I stood up and positioned Jasper on my hip.

"Alright. Bye. Make it home safe! Have a nice night," she said, before converting her eyes back to her project.

"You too. Bye." With that, I left through the door and headed for the car. Opening the back door, I put Jasper in his new carseat, one he could fit in, and buckled him up. I slid the door closed and got into the drivers seat. I pulled on my seat belt, turning on the ignition before driving down the long street.

I stopped at Jack IN The Box, getting out of the car before getting Jasper from his seat. I walked into the building, walking in line behind two people. One in front of the other. Jasper was asleep, his head resting on my shoulder.

"This is taking pathetically long for one order." The guy in front of me spoke. I rolled my eyes. It was Louis. He turned around, a shocked and amused expression on his face. "Well, hello there." A smirk replaced his confusion.

"Don't talk to me, and keep your voice down, he's asleep." I give him pleading eyes.

"Didn't he just turn a year last week?" he asked, folding his arms over his chest.

"I don't want to talk to you, okay? Just leave me alone before I yell that you're assaulting me. Don't think I won't do it."

"Aw, I just want some tacos." He chuckled.

"You want to get hurt or sent to prison, one or the other." I rolled my eyes, turning away from him.

"How about we hang out tomorrow? Zayn won't be around and it'll just be for fun, just as friends. What do you say?" This guy was extremely persistent.

"I say no! Get it through your think skull that I want nothing to do with you. For once, will you actually listen to me?" I raised my voice a bit and I could see at least 4 pairs of eyes on us, and that was just the people in front of us. He was shocked at how loud I was being, and Jasper woke up, whimpering. I bounced him gently.

"Look who's yelling now." He rolled his eyes. "Fine. You want to play this game, I'll play it too. You're going to wish you never said that." His eyes were dark with rage and he just walked out of the restaurant.

"Is everything okay here, Ma'am?" a waiter asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." I blinked away extra anger and smiled at the waiter. "Thanks." He walked away. I realized the guy who was ordering is finally done so I went to order my food. "I'll take 20 tacos, 6 egg rolls and two pepsis." She nodded.

"Your meal will be here shortly." I thanked her and sat down at a table, Jasper resting on my shoulder again, but he was awake. She called my name and I grabbed the food before heading home.

I planned to tell Zayn and ruin the entire mood.
