"Thanks again, guys, I really couldn't do this without your help." I thanked my team again, shaking each of their hands with a smile.

"Like we've always said, it's our pleasure," Tony said, smiling. He then turned to walk his own way, and I looked around at our work.

The property was one of our best works. We planted grass a while back so by now it's fully grown, maybe not fully, but still. It was a beautiful lush green, soft. The pathway to the front door was an off-white stone, paving certain steps. We had planted rose bushes in a hand-made flower bed, and right on the outside of it, we created a pond. It looked really nice. The house was a creamy color, the windows white, the room a dark brown.

I smiled to myself before heading to my car, pulling on my seatbelt. Starting the engine, I drove off into the night. I dialed Harry's number quickly, turning on my Bluetooth.

"Hey!" he said, making me roll my eyes at his enthusiasm.

"Hello," I respond dryly.

"I'm at the cafe, so I'm just waiting. Want me to order something for you?" he asked.

"Sure. A coffee is fine, I'm not really hungry." I stopped at a red light, resting my hands on the steering wheel.

"Alright. Well, I'm going to let you go." We said goodbye and hung up, same ending conversation every time.

The light turned green and I began to drive down the road, making a right at the next turn. Coming in view was the small cafe, and I turned into the parking lot and found an empty space to park, which wasn't hard because there were barely any people there.

I shut off the ignition, sighing and opening my door. I got out, locked my door, and walked up to the cafe, entering it. The 'ding' from the door brushing against the bell alerted everyone that I had walked in.

"Hey," I greeted Harry as I took a seat in the booth, sitting across from him. It was currently 9:23 PM.

"Hi." He waved, sipping his coffee. I noticed my coffee sitting there and picked it up, letting the hotness of the outside warm my cold hands.

"So, what is it you were going to tell me?" I questioned, sipping the hot coffee, feeling a slight burn as it went down my throat.

"Yeah. You just don't try anymore. Last time I told you to do all these things with her, you know? Well, make her be the one to make the final decision. Have her feel guilty, you know, feel bad about everything she's done. Push her away, don't give in. And if she truly loves you, she'll fight to get you to talk to her. Sleep on the couch if you need to, just ignore her presence. Make her, talk to you. It's time to have things go your way. She can't have her cake and eat it too. That's not how life works." I listened to him explain.

"Are you sure about this? I mean, that sounds a little extreme. Ignore her?" I repeat, taking another few sips from my coffee.

"Yes, I'm sure. Like I said, if she loves you, it should hurt her enough to make her fight for you. If she doesn't, if she treats the matter like it's nothing, that's when you know it's time to walk away," he said, biting a doughnut.

"You're right. That's what I'll do then."

"Has she even text messaged you today? At all, any time?" he asked, fixing his collar of his dress shirt.

"Nope, nothing. Not even a hello message." I shook my head.

"That could mean two things, but I'm not going to tell you," he said.

"What, why?!"

"Because, I don't want to make you think something that could possibly not be the case." He shrugged nonchalantly, laughing.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense. Thanks."

"No, no, that's what friends are for." He smiled before eating a doughnut. I looked at my wristwatch, and it read 9:47 PM.

"Well, I should get going home now. It's almost ten. I want to get back so I can say goodnight to Jasper and probably eat something."

"Alright. Well, you take care, and remember - don't give in," he said, standing up to leave as well.

"I won't forget, Harry. Thanks again." I nod my head as we walk out of the cafe.

"Take care, I'll see you around," he said, waving as he walked to his car.

"You take care too. Bye." I waved at him and got into my own car, driving home soon after.

The lights were off, and it was quiet. I figured Perrie was asleep, so I walked into the kitchen and flicked on the light switch. A plate of food was waiting for me in the refrigerator, so I warmed it in the microwave. I ate in silence, just thinking about everything Harry said.

When I finished eating, I headed upstairs and peeked in the room. Perrie was fast asleep in the bed, cuddled close to the duvet. I closed the door quietly and went into Jasper's room, smiling down at him. I leaned down and kissed his cheek, whispering goodnight. I left the room and went downstairs with a blanket and pillow.

The couch is where I slept that night.
