Zayn's P.O.V.

Driving onto the road, I glanced at the time. It was currently 4:21 PM, and I was just heading home after a long day of work. I turned the radio on and hummed along to a song called, Everybody Lies. Tapping my fingers on the wheal along to the beat, I stopped at a red light and sent a text to Perrie.

Zayn-
          On my way. :)

I sat my phone down and waited for the light to flash green. When it did, I began to drive again.

When I arrived to the house, I pulled into the driveway, shutting off the engine and just sitting in the car. I don't know why, but I did this a lot. You know, just sit in my car when I get home. It's weird.

Opening the car door, I stepped out and closed the door, locking it. After unlocking the front door, I opened it, and walked, sitting my suitcase beside the door and closing it. "I'm home!" I yelled, looking around. I was surprised to see that the house was spotless, it was very clean. It smelt refreshing, like febreze.

I hung my coat on the coat rack and walked into the kitchen, opening the cabinet and grabbing a glass cup from the shelf. I filled it with water and sucked it down. Sitting the cup on the counter, I turned around to see Perrie standing in the doorway, which was actually an arch.

"How was work?" she asked. She was dressed in a long white-strapped dress, with a green flowered pattern. The dress came just below her knees, and she were white strap sandals to go with it. She smiled at me as she awaited my answer.

"Work was good!" I said quickly. "How was your day?"

She walked in and stood in front of me. "My day was fine, and I'm glad work was good." She pulled me into a hug, and my heart melted. I can't even explain how it feels to be hugged by someone you never thought would hug you again.

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I said, "You seem in a good mood today?" It came out as more of a question than a statement, which wasn't purposely done.

"I am." She pulled back and stared into my eyes, a grin playing on her lips. I smiled back.

"That's great. What do you want to do today?" She let go of me and began to back up, thinking.

"Hmmm, we could take a walk on the beach," she said. "But you know we have to take Jasper with us." Her words became unsure.

"That's fine, it'll be just the three of us - like the family we are." I smiled reassuringly at her, taking her hand in mine and spinning her around as though we had been slow dancing.

"You sure." She smiled, wrapping her arms around my waist. She was so short compared to me. She came right to my chest, slightly below my chin.

I looked down at her, smiling. "Absolutely."

I got ready to leave for the beach and then went to get Jasper. I dressed him in baby sweatpants, a blue t-shirt and brought a baby blanket, his diaper bag, and his jacket. With him in my arms, I slung my own coat over my free arm, waiting at the door for Perrie.

"Ready?" she asked as she walked down the stairs. I decided to take in her appearance. She wore a royal purple tank top, denim jean shorts and white sandals. She held a bag in her left hand. "What? I had to bring some stuff!" She laughed as she saw me staring at the bag in her hand.

"I'm ready, and what are you bringing?" I asked.

She began to go through her back. "Some towels, sunscreen, shades, and paper and a pen." She smiled.
