Episode 6: The Surveillance Tape

Lucas' POV:

We were all waiting for Hopper in the living room (except Joyce who were in the kitchen getting us something to drink). Dustin was pacing around the room and I just couldn't take it anymore. "Why do you always pace around when we are doing something important?!" I asked harshly. He stopped up and slowly turned to look at me. "Oh I don't know, maybe because I'm nervous! But at least I know the difference between The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit" Dustin yelled pointing a finger at me. I was about to get up when Will stopped me. "Don't Lucas, just take it easy, look" Will said while pointing to Mike sitting in the corner. Mike was biting his nails and had tears in his eyes. "What's wrong with him?" Dustin asked walking over to us. "He's really worried about El" I said sighing. Nancy and Jonathan was sitting for themselves on the couch whispering to each other. "Can't they just kiss already?!" Dustin asked hinting to Jonathan and Nancy. "Do you think they had a thing? You know Mike and Eleven?" Will asked looking at Mike again. Mike was silently shacking. "Yeah I definitely think something happened between them" I said nodding my head. Joyce came in with some water and biscuits and sat them on the table. The doorbell rings and we all jump up.

Mike's POV:

I was silently crying in the corner hoping that nobody would notice. Hopper walked in when Joyce had opened the door for him. "Okay guys I've got the tapes, but I must warn you. There might be some very violent clips were bad things will be happening to Eleven, so if you think you can't handle that then I suggest you leave the room now" Hopper said. Nobody moved but just nodded our heads. Hopper walked over to the tape recorder(?) and put in the tapes. We all walked closer to the screen to see what was happening. Eleven was sitting in a room in front of a cat. She was crying and hugging her knees. "Eleven all you have to do is hurt the car. It's just a cat" doctor Brenner said over the speakers. Eleven shock her head and kept saying 'no'. "Fine, take her to the room" Brenner said, as two guards came in and took El. Eleven was screaming and kicking trying to get the guards to let go. "Papa!" She screamed crying. The two guards threw her into a little room and closed the door. The tape shifted camera so we were inside the little room. El was still screaming and punching the wall.

I had to look away but I could still hear her scream. The screaming stopped and I looked again. This time Doctor Brenner was taking Eleven to a tank. They slowly sank her into the tank and closed the door so she couldn't come out. I could hear her whimpering but I couldn't see what was happening. It was like the kids bath they had made to El. She suddenly screamed and the walls started to crack. It seemed like forever before they led her out and she was shaking and crying. She was trying to walk but she fell and just laid on the ground. Another pair of guards came and took her away. The cameras shifted again and this time we saw doctor Brenner with a lot of other doctors at a table. "So we all know that Eleven is the monster, but how do we separate the monster from her?" Doctor Brenner asked. One of the doctors stood up and started to talk. "The monster is made out of Eleven's fears and so on, so what if we kill the monster from inside of her. What if we torture her with electricity". I clenched my hands and was biting my lip. "That could be the answer other proposals?" Brenner asked folding his hands in front of him. "What if we let Eleven go into her own mind and kill the monster, it's were the monster came from, so she must somehow get it back" another doctor said. Brenner perked his lips a little while thinking. "I like the idea with the electricity" he said and then the tape ended. There were silence for a while before I burst out the living room, and ran into Will's room.

Nancy's POV:

Mike ran into Will's room and the other boys stood up to follow him, but I stopped them. "I'll talk with him" I said making my way to the room were Mike was. I slowly opened the door and saw Mike lying with his head down in a pillow crying. I slowly sat down on the bed next to him. I laid a hand on his shoulder and he turned around. "Leave me alone" he said tears streaming down his face. He was sobbing and his hands were pulling his hair. I took his hands away from his hair and pulled him in for a hug. He was crying into my shoulder and I let him. He slowly pulls away and wipe the tears away. "I can't loose her, Nancy" he said his voice unsteady. "We're going to find her Mike" I said looking him in the eyes. He looked down, and whispered something. "What?" I asked. He looked up and sighs. "I kissed her before she disappeared" he said smiling a little. I was smiling too now. "Really how did it feel?" I asked. "Like butterflies we're exploding in my belly, and my toes were tickling. When I pulled away she had this smile on her face and I just knew" he said with a big smile. "You just knew what?" I asked pushing his shoulders a little.

"That's when I knew I loved her".
