They're fourteen. El is going to start school soon.
Eleven:
I'm so happy.
It's been a long time since I've been this happy. Everyone's been tutoring me, so that I can start in school with the others soon. Hopper has been like a dad to me, a real dad. Apparently he adopted me, so now I'm Jane Hopper.
I'm currently watching one of my TV-shows, while waiting for Hopper to come home. He promised to buy more Eggos, since I ate the once we had. The secret knock is being knocked, so I open the locks with my mind.
Hopper steps inside with a bag (hopefully with Eggos). "Hi kid," he says smiling. I wave at him an turn back to the TV.
Hopper sits down next to me and I can feel him looking at me. I turn my head and raise my eyebrows. "What?"
He takes a deep breath and says; "I have to tell you something."
I turn my whole body towards him and nod my head.
"Remember when you were at the school, when the bad men showed up? The reason they found you was because of... me. I told them where you were, so we could get into The Upside down and save Will. I'm so sorry, I didn't even know you back then, and I knew Will."
Everything is suddenly blurred.
He betrayed me. He told them where I was. He wanted them to catch me.
I stand up and run out the front door. I can hear Hopper scream for me, but I don't care.
He betrayed me.
Mike's POV:
Will called me and told me to get to his house, as fast as I could. When I arrived the rest of the gang, Hopper and Joyce were already there.
"What's going?"
"Mike... El ran away."
My heart stops beating.
"W-what?"
Joyce starts explaining what happened. When I look at Hopper, all I can see is red. I walk over to him and stands right in front of him.
"Why would you do that? You fucking piece of shit, you betrayed her! You made her run away asshole!" I yell at him hitting him repeatedly in the stomach. Jonathan comes into the living room and pulls me away.
She's gone. I can't...breath.
Suddenly everything starts spinning and I can't breath. I can hear the others yelling, but it's like I'm under water. I close my eyes, and feel myself falling.

I open my eyes to see Joyce and Will sitting next to couch, were I'm laying. I sit up and look around. The others aren't here.
"What happened?" I ask Will.
"You had a panic attack, after we told you about El. The others are out looking for her," he tells me.
I try to stand up, but immeadtly feel dizzy.
"You have to calm down, okay sweetheart? They're going to find her, okay?" Joyce says, running a hand over my back soothingly.
I nod my head and close my eyes.
Please be save.
Eleven's POV:
I'm sitting inside Castle Byers, trying to figure out where I'm going to go.
I can't leave Mike. I can't.
But I don't want to go back to Hopper. My heart is hurting and I can't stop crying. I can't believe he would do this to me. I'm starting to become really hungry.
I can hear someone walking outside the castle, and I try to be as silent as possible.
"El?" It's Hopper.
He walks inside and sits down next to me. We just sit there for some time, not even looking at each other.
"The only reason I'm still here is because of Mike."
"I know."
We're quiet again after that.
"He's really worried... I think he would love for you to come home."
I don't say anything.
"Look kid, I'm really sorry. At the time, it made sense. I didn't know you, and I wanted to save Will. I regret it everyday. You're like a daughter to me, and I understand if you don't want to live with me anymore."
"I do want t live with you it's just... I can't trust you." I tell him.
He nods, and looks down. I can see tears in his eyes, but they don't run down his face.
"Joyce says that you can live with her, if you want to." Hopper tells me.
"T-that sounds nice. Only for a little bit though. I do want to live with you I just need a bit of time. But I promise you, I'll be back."
"When?"
"Soon."
Mike's POV:
I feel like I'm slowly dying inside.
El's been gone for six hours.
Someone knocks on the door and Joyce goes to open it. El steps inside and I run over to her. I throw my arms around her and I hug her tight.
El holds me tight and sobs into my shoulder.
"Shh, everything going to be fine. I promise," I whisper. I can feel her nod her head.
I look out the door, and see Hopper looking at us. He's crying a bit before he turns around and walk towards his car. He drives away after that. Joyce closes the door softly and leads El and I into the living room.
We're going to be okay.

I'm sorry for not updating for a couple weeks. I thought I did, but Wattpad apparently wouldn't let me update. Then I've had my first exam, so I'm kind of been studding for that. I got 10 (which is the second highest grade you can get)!!!!!
