Eleven has been missing for a year. Lucas, Dustin and Will thinks El is dead, but Mike knows El won't break a promise.
One day the boys decide to take a walk in the woods, whe...
"And then El shut the door with her mind and I was like; mental", Dustin explained. They were talking about how they figured out that El had powers. El was smiling at them and laughed.
"Yeah and then I jumped out from a cliff to save Dustin and she made me fly back!" Mike says. El looked down a little. I've already heard these stories but they loved to tell them.
"She flipped a van!" Lucas tells and he looks proud. I smiles at him and kissed his cheek.
"I remember being in the Upside Down, and then she was next to me. She said they were doing everything they could to get me out alive", Will says sadly. Dustin squeezes Will's shoulder.
"So Max, what was your first impression of the boys?", El asks. They all look at me now. Lucas looks at me with a hopeful smile.
"Well the first person I met was you El. Troy was saying some pretty mean things to you, so I had to help. You were really nice and shy, I wanted to be your friend. Then we have Mike. It didn't even take me a second to realize how much you love El. But you looked really nice and yeah that's about it".
"Then we have Dustin. You look like a funny guy with those wild curls. Then Will. You looked really nervous, plus you were smaller then the others. You looked like you've been to the upside down and back, which you have", we all laughed a little at that.
"And then Lucas. When I first saw you, I thought ; 'wow is that even a real guy?' You're so handsome and I liked the way you spoke to me about comics. I liked it when you asked me to dance, when you saw me looking at all the people dancing. I love that you asked me out at a pizza place!", I say. They all laughed except Lucas, who kissed me.
I kissed him back slowly before pulling away, suddenly Lucas pulls a small box out of his pocket. "Max, this is a promise ring. I promise to love you and marry you one day i-if you want to", Lucas says opening the box. I gasp as soon as I see the ring. It's beautiful.

I smile and kiss him again; "Of course, I love you" Lucas smiles and slides the ring on my finger. El and the boys cheer and I laugh. "Finally", I hear Dustin say. I lean my head against Lucas' shoulder and close my eyes.
Everything is perfect.
Mike's POV:
I smile at Max and Lucas before looking at El. I take her hand in mine and look at her ring. She looks at it as well before kissing me. "Uh I'm surrounded by people who's in love. I miss Sally!" Dustin yells.
I look at him and chuckle softly, but El looks at Dustin worriedly. I stopped chuckling and really look at Dustin. He looks sad.
"I just m-miss her so much", he says. A tear escapes his eye, and rolls down his cheek. El hugs him and he hugs her back. I sigh and look a Max and Lucas, who are oblivious to everything around them. Will has joined the hug and I do as well
Two minutes later, Max and Lucas join us and we just sit there hugging.
Nancy's POV:
"I have an idea for out baby girl's name", Jonathan says laying down next to me. I close my book and look at him.
"What?", I ask smiling sweetly at him. His hands find their way to my stomach and starts caressing it.
"Emma Viola Byers", he says grinning. I look at him and chuckle. "I love it", I tell Jonathan, my lips against his lips. Jonathan kisses me and I kiss him back.
"We should probably go visit our family's soon", I say after pulling away from the kiss.
"Yeah we should".
