To want something to much, only to realize it is too far away for you to ever reach it, is the most heartbreaking thing in the world.
Life becomes an empty shell, blues are all over your world. You listen to the sounds around you without really connecting to them. No smile adorns your face, no happiness bubbles in your chest.
As the cold reality seeps through your bones, a sad frown mars those lips.
An ache grows within as you realize you were wrong. It wasn't meant to be, and you knew it, but you still wanted it.
When it finally became real that you couldn't reach what you wanted, you gave up. It took a long time to be happy again.
You're here still, but will you be for long? No one knows the answer to that.
No one on earth but you.
