I want to start this off by saying, I forget things. I realize that is part of being human... no one is perfect, we all make mistakes yada yada yada.
But when you make a commitment to something, you should at least make an effort to remember, right?
Now, I'm not going to get into specifics here, but there's a girl in this school activity thing with me.
Nothing wrong with that, right?
Well, like I said I'm not going into details but we have practices for this activity twice a week, the same two days, same time, EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK.
How long does it take to remember that you have practice when you have it on the same two days every week?
And that's not even the worst part.
Okay. So I have another friend... let's call her Sarah. So Sarah was fed up with this practice-skipper girl... we'll call her Maggie. So Sarah stormed outside one day (like the 5th day in a row Maggie skipped practice) and told her to come inside, she had to come to practice.
Maggie promised she would come inside, she just needed to cancel something with one of her friends first. So Sarah came back inside.
And can you guess what happened next? Yup, Maggie never showed up.
To forget about something once is one thing. To forget about something multiple times is something else. But to lie to someone's face...
That's in a league of it's own.
