People go on cool, awesome vacations. I get it. And I'm totally jealous, especially when I'm stuck dealing with snow storms while they're out lounging in Hawaii or something.
So let's move on from that little disclaimer before I start ranting about winter weather, and focus on the real thing that's bugging me today.
I'm on my schools debate team. That's right, don't pick a fight with me. And so is one of my best friends, who's also my debate partner. Let's call her Katrina.
Katrina and I were entered in this debate tournament thing, and we were really excited about it because we thought we would do pretty good.
Well... basically two weeks before the tournament my 'friend' Katrina pulled out of the tournament because she said she would be away that weekend.
So, the weekend came and I went to the tournament anyways to cheer on my other friends on the team and show support. In between debates, I check my phone and see that Katrina posted something on Instagram.
Obviously I was curious as to why she would post something completely irrelevant to her 'vacation' I commented asking how the wifi was on her trip.
She responded by saying she wasn't on vacation after all, and only her dad had gone on the trip!
Obviously I was very annoyed because I couldn't compete in the tournament without a partner, but I was okay with it because I knew she wanted to go on this trip. But now she just completely ditched me?
Ugh I'm just so frustrated.
Any advice on how to deal with this? Because I have no idea where to go from here.
